Maybe that glance lasted just a little too long, or maybe a certain conversation could be interpreted as innuendo. Whatever it is, sometimes we see only what we want to see, and sometimes our fantasies get the best of us. Rarity is no exception.

Pinkie Pie comes to an important conclusion about her feelings for Rainbow Dash. She decides that there is only one appropriate course of action available to her.

Pinkie Pie magically glues herself to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash isn't happy about it.

For Dash, what's really terrible isn't that Pinkie is going to be stuck to her all day long, it's that Pinkie hugged her in public, where everypony could see them! But why does Dash care so much about other ponies seeing her hug her friends?

And why does Pinkie Pie like hugging her so much, anyway?

All mares have needs. Even if they’re totally uncool and undeniably lame. Rainbow Dash is the one exception to the rule. After a month away from her marefriend, she wasn’t even the tiniest bit lonely. And she definitely didn’t need - or want - a hug. Hugs were lame, and she was Rainbow Danger Dash. Hugging would only slow her down.

Rainbow has known Fluttershy for a long time, almost longer than she can remember remembering things at all. Lately, though... things have been weird. Not like... super weird, but weird.

It's like... Shy is still Shy, but cooler? Not quite. It's complicated. Rainbow wasn't actually planning to do anything about it, though. Not until Applejack stuck her nose into Rainbow's business.

Still, maybe it will be okay. She just has to talk to Shy, right?

Rainbow Dash and Applejack have finally admitted to themselves and each other what they always sort of knew, and are now a happy couple. The only step left is telling the rest of the Apple clan after a nice Hearth's Warming Dinner. However, newlyweds Big Macintosh and Sugar Belle have a big announcement of their own to make.

Which they do.
