Twilight crosses the mirror portal to pursue Sunset Shimmer after the theft of the Element of Magic. She finds herself in a world of odd two-legged creatures, and for some reason they're all obsessed with a card game called "Duel Monsters." Twilight soon learns that the only way to get her crown back is to win it in the school's semi-annual duel tournament, of which Sunset has been the reigning champion three rounds running. The tournaments have divided the school, and split up a group of five friends similar to Twilight's friends in Equestria.

Twilight now faces her biggest adventure yet. She must master Duel Monsters, reconcile these other versions of her friends, and defeat Sunset to win the Autumn Crown. And she has only three days to pull it off. It's time to duel!

Yugi Moto and his friends are invited back to Duelist Kingdom to take part in an exhibition tournament set up by Maximillion Pegasus. There they meet a group of six duelists who know a thing or two about Duel Monsters that even the King of Games has never seen before. But with mysterious pasts, old rivalries, secretive wagers, and the ever-present danger of the Shadows, no friendly contest is ever as simple as it seems. Gather your cards and fortify you life points, cause it's time to Duel!

This is a blatant attempt to shoehorn a complete story out of a comic I found on Deviantart that wouldn't leave my head until I fleshed it out. That comic can be found here. I promise to not use quite as many memes as the comic did. I also promise to try and make the games as interesting as I can.

Using their own hypnotic powers, they manage to turn the school Musical Show Case into a team dueling tournament. After Sunset and the girls get a message to Twilight, she and Spike arrive to help. They soon discover that the Dazzlings are actually evil Sirens that plan to conquer the world. Can the girls sever the Siren's spell by defeating them in a duel? Or can even they even be stopped at all? Next story is The Dueling Games.

With her ascendance into an alicorn princess, what Twilight Sparkle thought would be a simple royal summit to the Crystal Empire goes horribly wrong when Celestia's wayward former student Sunset Shimmer steals the Element of Magic into another world. An alternate Yu-Gi-Oh take on Equestria Girls. After feeling uneasy about using someone else's established setting for my previous anthology, I decided to put my own spin on the concept, and thus we have Equestria Girls: Duel Monsters.

So this time, instead of the usual Friendship Games, they're having a dueling tournament between the two schools. But Sci-Twi is more interested in the magic coming from CHS. Which school will win? And Is this Twilight a friend or foe? (I based some of the decks on the character's attitudes and others on the situations they find themselves in. One day she returns to Rarity's to discover that she has hired a new pony: a bat filly named Night Stitch. Not only is she skilled with a needle and thread, but she is also a former champion! But, why did she leave Manehatten? And why is she so scared?

It's been three months since Sunset Shimmer lost the Autumn Crown Tournament to Twilight Sparkle and found her ambitions of invading Equestria thwarted. She's since begun to reform as the school turns itself around from the bitterness of the tournaments, and with a new deck in hand she's even made friends.

However, a rival school is soon to arrive for their annual cross-school tournament, and among the ranks of their elite duelists is a familiar face who's been investigating Sunset's mysterious deck. Sunset isn't the only duelist out there with knowledge of magic, and she'll soon find herself facing a dark duelist who seeks to use her cards and powers for their own purposes.

Together with her friends, Sunset is going to have to put the duelists of Crystal Prep in their place and stop the plans of her new enemy. It's time to duel!
