When Twilight finds a book some advanced spells she can't resist but read it and try to perform them. Unfortunately the spell back fired and turned Twilight back into a filly. Having no memory of her adult life, can her friends find a cure for her? Or will she have to start life over again?

This story is a sequel to Dusk Shine's Saga

Celestia sleeps for years at a time. Luna only walk's in her dream world now. Cadence holds the sun and I, Dusk Shine, must balance the moon. But after a thousand years I have taken on a new student. My story is far from over, yet her's has only started.

Author's notes:
-A concept I'm still only half playing with in my free time between chapters of Dusk Shine's Saga. This will not replace the main fic in any way shape or form.
-Direct Sequel to Dusk Shine's Saga, set 2000 years after Magical Mystery Cure.
-While some references to event's in Dusk Shine's Saga will be brought up due to them being in this worlds history no knowledge of that series is required to follow this one.
-Dusk Shine and Barb are gender swapped version of Twilight and Spike.
-Do not expect frequent updates like my other series. This is a major back-burner for idea's to keep me busy while I go though the process of editing my other story.
-Likewise, this may be scrapped at any time if it gets too much in the way of my main story or shelved for long periods of time until I've reached a comfortable place with the main series and am willing to return to this story.

Twilight Sparkle wakes from a coma after being cursed by a stallion she doesn't remember ever meeting. Princess Celestia and Spike have been taking care of her while she was sleeping. But something is wrong, and Twilight’s memories don’t match up with anypony else's.

This is an AU story of my own twisted imagination. Set after “Games Ponies Play” but before “Magical Mystery Cure” timeline wise (sort of, you'll see). So no Alicorn Twilight here. Tagged Twilight and Celestia as they are the main characters, but other characters do appear in the story.

Twilight Sparkle, younger sister of Princess Celestia's personal student, Shining Armor, grew up listening to her brother's bygone dreams of joining the elite of the elite: The Royal Guard.

Now, fresh out of the Academy, this young mare is ready to prove herself equal to the deeds of the great soldiers she read about as a filly. Too bad the princess she ends up protecting isn't Celestia.

The years have passed well for Twilight and Cadence: the Crystal Empire is prosperous, their ponies are happy, and their love is strong. All is well, until Twilight makes a discovery that threatens to destroy the life they've built together.

In Equestria, Princess Celestia struggles with feelings she thought conquered long ago as she is torn between anger at the past, guilt in the present, and hope for the future.

For Celestia, Luna reminds her that she's not had a date in, well, a time period she would rather not get in to. Luna conspires to push the two princesses together. Will a so-called "practice date" turn into something more?

In another world, in another universe, Queen Twilight Sparkle has ruled over Equestria with love and Kindness. Within that time, she has token in the wayward young apprentice, Rumble, a Pegasus colt.

During the 999 year, Twilight sends the colt to Ponyville to oversee the Sunrise Celebration. Needless to say that he's not the only one making his first apparence in Ponyville.
