Twilight has noticed something. An anomaly. An illogicality. A discontinuity so stark that she must investigate.
Trixie just wants to make probably-legal fireworks in peace.
Set in early Season 7.

Life is a routine for Fluttershy. While her friends are supporting Equestria during its darkest time, she stays home, taking care of the animals and looking after her flowers. Perhaps everyone in Ponyville can use some cheering up in this time of need.
Fluttershy sets off to spread hope.

This story is a sequel to Sweetie Belle Gains a Soul
The tyranny of Sombra leaves behind a dangerous artifact. Nopony in their right mind would even think of tampering with such a horrific legacy.
Trixie, however, is not your average pony. Where others see insanity, she sees opportunity. Assuming that Sombra’s magical charm works as intended, she’s going to get even with Twilight once and for all.
In Equestria, legend tells of a pony, all the colors of the rainbow, who will grant the wish of a pony whose heart is true. Tread lightly, though, for it is not a wish to be made without careful consideration.
The Rainbow Pony will grant a wish only if the wisher completes a unique task. Suffice it to say, these tasks are not what you’d expect.
If the Rainbow Pony gives you something wrapped in noctis wings, you will automatically know your task—words need not be spoken.
Some say that the pony’s colors on the outside compensate for the darkness on the inside, so think carefully before you attempt your task…

Its a common sentiment that a parent should never outlive her children. But what happens when you outlive all your friends? your family? What happens when year after year you watch ponies you grow close to grow old and die? How far would you go to keep somepony, anypony you love close? How much could the need for something to remain the same, to remain unchanged affect you?
I'd like to thank my pre-readers for their valuable input on this story, and let's not forget my editor, Kalash, for his hard work.
Edit: 2/15/2020 FEATURE BOX!!!! Thank you so much for the honor! And making it to the top!!!
On the longest day, of the thousandth year, the stars aided in her escape.
Then Nightmare Moon looked out upon the land that would soon be her empire, and found a world she no longer existed in. In a thousand years, she had been all but forgotten.
She could conquer, and continue to be hated. She could put aside her pride, and be redundant. Or, she could disappear, and fade into the glorious night.
AN: While Princess of Equestria takes place before this, neither are required reading for the other. Rather, they complement each other.
It's a fact often ignored by peons, traitors and other non-entities but true royalty does not get ill.
So though it might appear that Queen Chrysalis is ill she obviously isn't.
And while it might appear that she needs looking after, she doesn't!
...but if you insist then she is wise enough to take advantage.

This story is a sequel to Twilight Turns Into A Red And Black Alicorn
There comes a time in every alicorn's life when they gain a new set of colors. Nopony can predict when it will happen, but happen it will. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna went through theirs long ago. Now it has happened to Twilight.
Unfortunately, it left her with a new set of colors that she doesn't like. Also, unfortunately, there is no way to undo the change. Now Twilight must deal with a lifetime of being the only red and black alicorn in Equestria.
