This story is a sequel to The History Of The Human War

First state visit to The Human Refuge's home, Luna Aeternal is happening. What will happen? Twilight Sparkle accompanies Princess Luna as she visits the human colony on the moon. What kind of place is the mysterious human home? What will she find there? And will they survive the visit without restarting the most devastating war in the history of Equesteria?

Sort of sequel to The History of Human War. Originally planned to just add this to that fic, but it kept growing until I had to split it into two parts and then it kept growing until it started to be longer than other "After The War" chapters combined. So now it is its own story. Enjoy.

This story is a sequel to Feeding the Machine

I've been working in this place for as long as I remember, witnessing the demise of countless pegasi as their lives are innocently taken by the Pegasus Device. This has left me to constantly think about the entire aspect of this place. Why does the factory actually exist and have I finally awoken to chaos that surrounds me?

Based on "Awoken" by WoodenToaster and "The Betrayal (Act III)" by Nickelback.

On the battlefield, they're a stolid grey wave of humanity. They live with a disturbing lack of wanting to live, and are well known for pessimism, morbidity, and an institutional death wish - if you can even get them to talk, that is.

On the battlefield, they're a loose conglomeration of whatever the Planetary Governors can scrape up. In theory, they defend their planets from external and internal threats, forming the first line of defense for the Imperium of Man. In practice, the only tactical consideration they are in the minds of battlefield commanders is a force to slow down threats with sheer numbers until the Imperial Guard arrives to start the battle.

The Death Korps of Krieg and the Planetary Defense Forces are wildly incompatible, and so are their members. However, when misguided aim lands one human from each in the far north of Equestria, teamwork is the only hope for success.

For Rhia, it's difficult trying to preserve one's life when one's survival partner considers you useless, along with not caring about trying especially hard to survive.

For 57-893, it's annoying when your only company is obsessed with the ridiculous notion of not wanting to 'die for the Emperor'.

A change of outlooks is in order.

And what of the natives?

The beginning of the 18th century seems bright for the Swedish Empire, led by Charles XII. His foes defeated just a few years prior and an unstable peace looms. Parts of Norway, Latvia and Estonia as well as Pomerania now belongs to a new, powerful Sweden in the north.

However, the future is cast into uncertainty as great bouts of lightning fills the skies over Stockholm. Gods will or not, the Swedish Empire disappeared forever. This is the story of what happened when the great and mighty Empire of Sweden appeared in the world of Equestria.

AC: After many sleepless nights, I've finally decided to do this fic. This fic was inspired by "Liberté, égalité, fraternité." If you haven't read it, I strongly suggest that you do. It's a very good fic!
Also, there might be some historical inaccuracies, but I'm trying to make it as historically as possible. Some characters are created by me, but many of the ships, cities, armies and characters are historical.

Please, excuse any spelling mistakes or strange grammar. English is not my first language, but I'm trying my best to make it presentable. I'm Swedish, as you probably could guess from this fic ;P

The Northern Region of the Equestria, (un)officially entitled as the "Union of Communalist Council Republics" or UCCR... Is not your spot for a summer holiday...
The winter, though? Makes the place famous. Infamous, even. Makes you wonder how such a vast, icy place can be populated, or have an organized government...

Doesn't matter, though. The point is, it's populated, and it has it's own government.
And Princess Celestia is absolutely terrified because of it!
Even though they're just about the nicest, most honest and equane ponies you'll ever meet on... Well, just about the whole Northern Hemisphere.

Anyways, Celly and her sisters are going for a diplomatic meeting, and they've decided to send their apprentices ahead...

In their defense, I must state: they had NO IDEA about the events that were to unfold! Honest!
