After the Storm King's army was disbanded Tempest decides to stay in Ponyville for a few weeks to prove she can be a valued citizen of Equestria.

She expects to be bored. She expects civilian life to be hard to adjust to.

She doesn't expect Rainbow Dash to approach her, asking for combat training. And she certainly doesn't expect to start to like the cocky Pegasus.

But opening your heart to friendship means opening it to some other things as well.

Wonderbolts Have a show soon in ponyville but the streak twins want to have some good time with their best friend Soarin. At the same time Rarity, Applejack and Rainbow Dash are planning to have a girls night out. Will the to partys meet and how will the show end up. Twilight and Rainbow are called to another adventure, which leads them to the Zebra civilization in the bayou. Little did any of them know that they would be found by a ship captained by the most dreaded pirate in Equestrian history: Blackmane. An attempt to write an MLP episode.

We learn the bolts have to save Equestria, but they too succumb to the evil ancient villain pony known as Doom. He had plagued the world before, byt was stopped by Celestia and Luna. He is accidentally brought back to the world again. Soarin and the Wonderbolts must rush to Canterlot to protect Celestia, but this pony isn't like any other magician. In all this, Soarin also finds out more about his past and who his mother really is because of doom. In the end, it is up to Soarin to find a secret weapon and deliver it to Celestia before it is too late. (Sequel to the fabulous Wonderbolts part 1.) After Doom is defeated, Soarin reaches his first challenge as captain of the RGAF (Royal Guard Airforce) tension between the sisters causes alliances, daring moves, spying, and eventual war between them both. Soarin is expected to fight with Celestia, but he doesn't want to fight against Luna. He is stuck in the middle of this war that tears Equestia into two halves.
