This story is a sequel to The Return of the Shadows

Princess Celestia sends King Sombra to Ponyville to learn about friendship with Twilight and her friends.
But days passed, and between Sombra and Twilight something else grows.

Twilight Sparkle and her assistant Spike just came back from a lecture when they saw Starlight Glimmer in the throneroom. She held in her magic a scroll with a time charm.

Starlight Glimmer wanted to travel with this time charm and the map in Twilight`s castle to the past and change the destiny of Twilight and her Friends.

But something had gone wrong, because Sombra has dived has stolen the magic and used it himself to travel into the past. He wants to dominate his dark plan to rule Equestria.

After being introduced to Dark Magic, Twilight has used it to her advantage multiple times(using it for Zecora's potion, finding the Crystal heart). Twilight starts to experiment with it, causing her to grow obsessed. She's noticed that its beginning to change her. She must stop herself from succumbing to the darkness before her friends loose her forever.

Would you rather die, or become a slave to darkness?

NB: This is a continuation of a comic dub I found on youtube. You can find the link here and there. You MUST watch it before reading this, otherwise it won't make any sense haha. Also, I'm yet to come up with a decent description of this so it may change at some point, as will the tags.
This takes place in the same universe as the IDW Comics that featured Rarity turning into Nightmare Rarity.
Dialogue sentences that appear in italic is the conglomerated voice that gets mentioned, so don't get it confused with normal dialogue or words that appear in italic in the middle of other sentences.

So many close calls, so many potential hesitations, so many things that Twilight and Spike could have done differently, and they'd have failed. It doesn't matter what they did wrong or didn't do right, only that a split-second is all the difference Sombra needed. Now, Twilight is completely at Sombra's mercy, subject to whatever mind games he has planned for her...

After being blown to bits by Cadence 1000 years ago Sombra finds himself somewhere just outside the Crystal Empire. While he gains strength to reform his body he thinks about what happed and how he would get his revenge on all who dared step in his way. After he puts his plan into action he learns that it has over a 1000 years after his defeat. He also learns that on of the ponies that helped defeat him has become an alicorn. Now he has to revise his plan. But while carrying he starts to fall in love with Twilight.

This story is a sequel to Kiss of the Dark

Six months after the events of Kiss of the Dark, Twilight is deep into her pregnancy with Sombra's child. The foal is due any moment now, and she grows more excited by the day.

However, her memories of Sombra still haunt her. Torturing her in her dreams, making her feel guilty for the things she's done with him....

Once Celestia catches wind of it, she takes it upon herself to help her former student once more. After all, its best that they fix things once and for all before the foal arrives...

Twilight Sparkle has failed at getting the Crystal Heart in time, letting the former king, who enslaved the entire kingdom over a thousand years before, return to take over the Empire.

Now, with the Crystal Heart permanently gone, Twilight is now bound to King Sombra for all eternity...

Because of this, it even left the only pony who can save her, her loved ones, and the empire, powerless against him.

Twilight doesn't dare go to Princess Celestia for help, Celestia wouldn't understand so she turns to the pony in her head. When she does, she sign's her soul to the King of Shadows, King Sombra. Her old enemy becomes her teacher and makes her do things to others she never even dreamed about. Twilight has gone off the deep end can her friends save her before it's to late?
