This story is a sequel to Kiss of the Dark
Six months after the events of Kiss of the Dark, Twilight is deep into her pregnancy with Sombra's child. The foal is due any moment now, and she grows more excited by the day.
However, her memories of Sombra still haunt her. Torturing her in her dreams, making her feel guilty for the things she's done with him....
Once Celestia catches wind of it, she takes it upon herself to help her former student once more. After all, its best that they fix things once and for all before the foal arrives...

Holy shit, dude! You're actually following through with the sequel?! Congratulations! I think it's fantastic that you're continuing to push past difficult times and are actively choosing to write what you feel, instead of what others pressure you into doing.
Granted, be careful not to outright reject all alternative opinions and reader input. But I'm sure you already knew better than to do that.
I still feel awful about the pain I might have caused you with my opinionated comment on KotD, indirect or otherwise. I almost feel responsible for the entire debacle. And I really do hope that there are no hard feelings between us. But I do feel quite a bit better now that it's clear that the whole experience has worked out and made better people out of both of us, I think.
Again, though, congratulations on reaching the next milestone in this fan story, and in your own personal life story as well. I have no doubt that your abilities will only continue to grow, and this will be made clear in your writings as time goes on.
I'll still be here, of course. And you can bet that I'll continue to toss my two cents into the comments section from time to time, though I intend to be far less manipulative in my suggestions and observations than I was last time. Regardless of whatever I will come to think about it, I'm ultimately certain that you will not disappoint with this project.

1. I just wanted to focus on Twilight dealing with the aftermath of KOTD, all while addressing her foal. And I'm hesitant to write a long story again for now, since I've been stuck on a tablet for six months and just now getting a PC.

Not bad. I'm a little surprised that they didn't delve into the question of mind control and consent during the wedding night memory, but I may be harsher on that particular issue than Twilight or Luna.

The most believable lie is the one wrapped up in truth. If you ask me, Sombra was mantipulating and controlling Twilight, but by that scene, Twilight had completely been broken, to the point where Sombra no longer had to trick her to do what he wants.

You should have seen the chapter "Queen of Shadows" in the original story Kiss of the Dark. That scene is actually sort of a flashback to a scene in that chapter. Hell...pretty much every dream IS a flashback. Every dream is a callback to a scene in KOTD. It makes a bit more sense if you read it.
Though, I hope you can still understand everything fine without having to read KOTD.

I don't think I will, after thinking about it. That might change, but I thought the ending to LOTD was just so perfect for the series, I don't know what else I could add to make it even better.
That said, like I said in the author's notes, it felt good just to do one more story in this series.
