A normal day for two worlds.

In one, Twilight is researching magic at her home in Canterlot, trying to find information on the fabled Elements of Harmony.

In another, a young man, a childhood survivor of the infamous death game Sword Art Online, is about to enter the virtual world for the first time in seven years. The name he chose for himself, the one he hasn't used since that time, Animus.

In mere moments, their lives take a sudden and unexpected turn as the land of Equestria is transformed. The laws of reality are altered, following the rules of a game, and humans are pulled across the bounds of worlds. Now, Twilight and Animus must choose their path. Will they work together to understand the game they've been forced to play? They'll have to choose fast, because war is coming, and the only way to beat the game and wish everything back to normal is to fight against forces that would kill to have their wish granted.

I am a long way from home. I have been asked to live among ponies for a time yet unspecified so we might learn from each other. I have chosen to accept this assignment for our mutual benefit.. This is the story of my attempt to live among ponies so we may learn from each other. I am just hoping not to cause mass hysteria.

Alec never thought that he'd ever end up being much more than and ordinary person in the crowd: just another face you'd never think twice about. However, when he and his two friends, Joey and Lindsey, are transported to Equestria during a weekly game night, that all changes. Now, imbued with fantastic abilities, he forges a new path: a path lined with love, heartbreak, friendship, trust, and betrayal.

While I'm pretty sure that being transformed into a Hero from a Movie can be considered cool in more than one way, I just don't see it.

What would happen if Spike was born earlier than in the show and was raised by dragons instead of ponies? What if his teacher told him to come with him to meet with Celestia and the recently returned Luna. How will the princesses and Elements of Harmony handle a blunt, sarcastic, and strong young dragon. And how would this affect a certain shy Pegasus who is afraid of dragons.

Let us see here, how to begin?

Well, I suppose the best way to do so is with introductions. I am Prometheus and while I was, as one might say, tied up for quite some time I noticed your world. I have to say it's quite interesting, but unfortunately stagnant as well. So Miss Celestia I, being the patron of progress that I am, have sent someone your way. He is not a creature native to your world, a species I personally have a great deal of interest in, they're ambitious little scamps. I am bestowing a gift upon him as I send him, one he will in time learn to master. It is my hopes he brings progress to your world, but as the past has proven on many an occasion the best intentions can at times have the worst effects. We'll just have to see how it goes won't we.

Ha, not as smart as the bastard thinks he is. I managed to snag the paper from him. So "Miss Celestia" my name is Coal and apparently I'm supposed to stir up some dirt. I'll admit I know just as much as to what is going on as you do, but if he's the Prometheus I'm thinking of, things might be a little more complicated than he'd let us believe.
