A very creative idea. I especially love how much Tank and Winona play off of each other, and I'm interested to see how the other pets play off of them. I can't wait to see what mischief they'll get into.

I especially liked the level of activity in this piece. Much more showy than telly, which is very nice. I also liked your characterizations of Tank and Winona (though I have to admit that they're a little strange for me to read, given the wholly unreasonable things I've been doing with them in my own writing), especially in how their characters reflect (but don't mirror) the personalities of their owners.
I usually try to offer some constructive criticism as well, but I'm writing this comment a few hours after having read the story so I'm not remembering a whole lot of critical details. I'll try to be a little more thorough when the next chapter shows up.

2078576 Eh... I don't know. I think Tank might be too old for her. I mean, do you know how long tortoises live compared to cats? If I had to guess, I'd place Opal's age at around 2-4 years old, while Tank is probably at least 40 or 50.

I have had a terrible day. Work was friggin stressful since my coworker did absolutely nothing, I got a jackass comment on my story that was completely asinine, and I found out I have to work eight days straight starting Tuesday. This however has completely turned my day around and has made me a happy pony
