Oh, you! Discord is exempt from entropy. It's horrifying! But look how well he's dealing with it. It hasn't destroyed every relationship he's tried to have at all!
Well, this is different. And just what did Discord mull over while he was turned to stone for 1,000 years? Interesting question, and interesting proposed answer.

The whole "turned to stone" thing is deceptively more hellish than initially let on. I can't believe they did that to a kid.

If it's any consolation, we know from Staremaster that a pony turned to stone is basically just stopped in time and unaware of what happens (and the movie, actually). Discord, as is usual, just doesn't follow the rules - much to his chagrin, in this case. I blame the lack of limitation to a physical body.
So it would likely be more like passing out. Upsetting, disorienting, but not mind shattering.

Ah, excellent point! It sure does suck to be Discord. The process of turning to stone also looks quite painful, so I suppose the passing out is ideal.
Wow, I've never read a fic like this - more poetry than a fic, though that's hardly a ground-breaking observation on my part. Phenomenal take on Discord.
It is something, really. Making and not making so much sense at the same time. Discord using science and logic to explain... well, explain himself, explain Discord. Yet what other choice he has? Only not explaining, at all.
'Story' is confusing as for me, very confusing, yet inspirational. Especially inspirational, if one's aim is to write an amazing Discord.
