Based on The Veggie Tales episode "Esther: The Girl Who Became Queen" and the actual Biblical story of Esther. Long ago, when Saddle Arabia was young and new, a chaotic king takes in a shy pegasus as his queen. Will she have enough courage to face the perils and dangers ahead?

And the only desert like kingdom we've been introduced to is Saddle Arabia. So again, keep that in mind.

Sorry. Just my personal concern. So far, it's avoided being sensually offensive, which I was afraid of, and it's not that bad. Hopefully, the remaining chapter are of similar quality.

In terms of why this story has Goddess Celestia instead of the Christian & Hebrew God is because I wanted to make this MLP retelling as true to the world of MLP as I could. And the closest thing ponies gave to a concept of a god is Princess Celestia. At least so far anyway. Plus, I wanted this story to have a more universal feel and draw in a wider audience than just people who in the Christian and Hebrew. I want this story to show Biblical lessons and stories can apply to a wider audience, and that people can appreciate these kinds of lessons and stories from the Bible.

Oh the Aisle of Perpetual Tickling, surely a fate worse than death ;) Whoever came up with that one is a genius, though I wonder if you're going to stick with Haman and him setting up his gallows. I'm just glad you kept the original party in tact instead of the whole "Make me a sandwich" in the middle of the night nonsense. I get why Big Idea Productions did that, but it still bugs me. Too many things are taken out of context in Veggie Tales when it comes to Biblical stories. Maybe it was a good thing Phil Visher had to come back from bankruptcy of his own company and start up a whole new series for himself.

I haven't submitted the story yet, and I will submitted in the beginning of March. The last day to submit is March 10th, and the results of the contest will be announced on March 12th.

So far the story is very interesting. I kind of get a bride of discord feel in this story.
The only concern I have is trying to remember the change in names. With Weeky updates it's hard to remember whose who. Maybe you should write in the description to clear those doubts
