Forcalor

There are no rules in art, love, and war.

T

Same continuity as The Queen of the Dark.

Long ago, the old world was crumbling around the young Princess Celestia, but she had a duty to uphold: to confront Princess Luna.

It didn't go exactly as planned.

Like the cover art

One must die so the other may live

Celestia! : guess I die then

What no that not the plan

M: Do you believe in Neo's destiny?
N: No.
M: Why?
N: I don't like the idea of being manipulated.

Harmony and Starswirl started Lunas fall… they pushed her to it because of their visions, creating the thing they attempted to warn Celestia about

"Is it an inconvenience? We will find a way to remedy that." The Other shrugged aside her trepidations. "Furthermore, you are to wield the Elements of Harmony for one last time, and it will be against her. There will be a suitable replacement for you."

Wait so harmony is the one who caused all of this in the first place and choice twilight.

And What is this the emperor of man council or mind

Then do you like chaos?

11552665
if the world order completely gets rid of chaos, then it will turn into a dictatorship without free will, because any of your own decisions will get out of the established plan and violate the ideal order.
so I'll ask a counter question: "do you like the ideal order that does not give free will?"

Congrats on the feature, Forcalor!

Thanks! It's all the awesome artwork, I can take no credit

Celestia is kind of a lesser god in a young world here, and everyone including her still trying to figure out how stuff works. It is fascinating to think about

11552962
It's a feel I know well.

11552962
Including the giant council of harmony?

11553653
Is it something from comic books? 😅
I know only of Cosmic Council, and they really vague and open to interpretation, because some folks only wanted a vague description for some children book

oh god, i've looked it up, it is... unusual

But anyway. Cosmic Council kinda sorta exists.

Hug I may have to look that up.

The best way to defy destiny is to reject the very notion of destiny itself. It doesn't matter what is written in the stars if you don't read them or head their words.

Wow I already hate Starswirl and five seconds in you've managed to multiply that hatred tenfold. Bravo.

Holy crap this was awesome... I've nothing to say other than wow. Just wow. I absolutely love Celestia in this.

Not gonna lie you did make me cry too. This line right here did it...

What is the point in the Sun without its warmth, anyway?

Exceptional work.

I am eager to please
Thank you for reading. I think I will finish new chapter on tQotD later today, it will contain more Starswirl

Hey, think is really fascinating! Love it when they find new connections and possibilities for the thing that is called "fate"!

Hey, thanks
When I first sat down to write for QOTD, I was kind of driven by the idea that fandom doesn't really explore at large fate and fantasy aspects of MLP. Well, consider that it will be covered.

The Other is lucky Celestia didn't go Illidan on him and their destiny BS:

Twilight is locked in now :(

ive been meaning to read more of your work, so i searched for any story that involved celestia (my first instinct) and im happy to say im not disappointed in the least. the world youve created seems a lot more dark and oppressing than the stuff i usually read, but the fact that things like "love" and (presumably) "friendship" are things that can bend the very fabric of the universe makes it a lot more palatable. like a light in a really dark and scary tunnel. anyways loved celestia and "harmony"'s characterization here!!

That is what I was going for, yes!
As time went on, I think I got more of a hang on the characters, so you are welcome to check out main body of my work. Celestia in particular is a sheer joy to write
Sunset Shimmer though is a bit aged-up in my work, and I think I've taken too many liberties with her in the end. But the direction I am taking her character is surely something unique
