Nightmare Moon has been defeated, but at too high a cost.

Princess Luna, Celestias little sister, has been trapped in the moon along with the demon. Celestia, in her desperation, reaches out to Harmony itself, hoping the maker of the Elements can spare her sister from such a fate.

What she finds is not what she expects, and what she learns will be too much for her to bear.

Eh. Not that sad an ending. Been done before 😒. Why people are still fused to the horseapple idea of Lauren Faust being a god, is beyond me.

They were just showing appreciation what she accomplished with the show friendship is magic and if you remember she actually received a gift of a artwork of her pony OC and she appreciates it so there’s no need to get so out of shape bruh

Those who embody Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, and Magic must wield the Elements to stop her and free your sister.

You forgot Loyalty.

This wasn't bad, even if the topic was explored a thousand times already.

“You’re damn right I’m angry!”

Doesn't seem like something she would say, honestly. I'd expect her to use more regal speech even when angry, although you could explain it away with her feeling really bitter and not being around her subjects. But still, it felt a bit weird.

The fissure in her chest was something I added at the last minute cause I thought it’d be a neat bit of worbulding and mythology that could be explored some time down the road. Along with why and how the Alicorns wounded her in the first place.

You know, I'd actually read that. What would be your take on Alicorn lore. I take it in your universe, they are a race, and C&L were born as such, yes?

Celestia trying to free Luna /depressed about Luna, or talking with an anthropomorphic representation of Harmony? Cause I can buy both have already been explored.

Hm, perhaps. Maybe I’ll edit a bit later.

Well, they really hated the Draconoquei. That’s as much as I’m revealing.

That would be correct, yes.

I meant the "depressed about Luna" part. That was a pretty common fanfiction material in the last 10 years. I'm not holding it against your fic though, just saying.
>anthropomorphic representation of Harmony
Funnily enough, the show itself pulled this when the Young Six met the "Spirit of Harmony" in What Lies Beneath. Except it appeared as Twilight Sparkle to them.

Based and Faustpilled. I'd read your story involving the ancient alicorns. Just don't get overwhelmed by the premise, as it's as epic as it's difficult to pull off well.

I LOVE Historical Equestria and I'm really sad the creator didn't continue with the series. This was such a good read and I highly enjoyed
