As the generations have passed, she has grown to hate what she is. She has grown to hate the sun who made her immortal. She hated the voice she buried deep down, clawing its way up with dreams of blood-red infernos and fire.

It sounds like Celestia is on her way to being an Anti-Daybreaker. Like she wants nothing more than to destroy her sun.
Small nitpick, a generation is roughly 25 years. Enough for a pony to reach maturity and have a child of their own.
Now that Celestia's precious sister is back and is also afraid of the sun, I wonder how this will go.

I love Daybreaker, but she isn't nice. She wants eternal day like Nightmare Moon wants eternal night.
Ну честно говоря не ожидал, что эта история окажется настолько хороша. Довольно хорошо показано, как у Селестии медленно накапливается раздражение и ненависть ко всему. В глубине души она осознаёт насколько на самом деле она могущественна. Понимает, что она может стать вечным тираном, что правит железным копытом и делает всё, что пожелает. Пони ждут от неё идеала, пони ждут, что она решит все их проблемы, долг которого она не желала сделал её слугой своего народа и Селестия это всё ненавидит и эта ненависть заглушает её любовь к своим маленьким пони и даже её родная сестра и верная ученица видят в ней лишь тот образ который вокруг неё был создан и когда нибудь эта ненависть может закрыть собой ту любовь которую Селестия испытывает к Эквестрии и всем её жителям.
Daybreaker своего рода воплощает все её тайные желания. Воплощает Солнце которое не укротить, на которое не повесить цепи. Солнце которое дарит жизнь всему живому и точно также может эту жизнь забрать.
Это действительно очень крутая и интересная интерпретация Daybreaker и Селестии.

Thank you! Usually, people hate Celestia for just being perfect or not the emo sister but frankly I think her story had a lot of potential and I wish they actually made Daybreaker a real villain, like for the last episode or something of the series.

Вот бы хоть раз в подобном рассказе селестия так бы и осталась "злой", осталась бы в своей тёмной форме.

Heh, Dawnbreaker's grip isn't nearly as strong as she projects if she's that resistant to letting Luna probe Celestia's mind.
While this is a good read, I feel as though a slower burn would benefit the story (longer chapters and more points of narrative, the parasprit and flutters taking care of Philomena Episodes for example.)
If you are open to ideas. A headcannon I've had bouncing around for a while is that Alicorns can willfully become normal Ponies at the cost of a mind death, (total destruction of their memory's, personality, and all that makes them, them) and reverting to a foal physically. I can see this Celestia trying something like that, at some point in the story.

It is a good idea :) Unfortunately I am the type of writer that's gets burnt out easily and unable to write very long chapters because of it, so as of rn in my writing I am unable to do those sorts of stories although in the future maybe I might be able to.

I love the build of Celestia's mental state degrading each passing moment from the burden of immortality, dealing with nobles, keeping an image, and being a leader of the country. That'll definitely put anyone insane or stopped caring

What I would like to say about this story, so far it is a really good saga about the fall of Princess Celestia and her transformation into a Daybreaker, but alas, there are very serious problems with this story and the very first and main of them is that Twilight Sparkle and her friends would never agree to use the elements on Celestia, they would have done everything in their power not to resort to the elements, would have used every opportunity to do without it. Immediately, they just gave up and agreed... It's not like them at all.
This is especially true for Twilight Sparkle, her faith in her mentor is immeasurable, she practically idolizes her. She agreed to use the elements too easily.
Also, I would like to mention Daybreaker separately, if we proceed from the assumption that he and Celestia have equal intelligence and wisdom, then the fiery alicorn is too short-sighted here. She just stands and waits hoping that Twilight Sparkle won't apply the elements, it's pretty stupid and even stupider to destroy Canterlot to punish the Moon, it just doesn't make sense from any point of view.
Again, a rational strategy would be to eliminate the elements of harmony. Except for the elements of harmony and probably Discord, nothing can stop the Daybreaker. It is also extremely stupid to immediately behave like a crazy inadequate telling the whole Equestria "I am PURE EVIL."
Generally speaking, the story is good, but some moments spoil it a lot.

Twilight at times was quite eager to use the Elements. Only one time did the Elements banish someone. That was when Celestia alone used them. Every other time the Elements try to cleanse with harmony outside of stoning Discord.
And do you not remember the one appearance of Daybreaker in the show? She was a classic cackling maniacal evil.
