They did. This story is about their bond being so close right off the bat that they feel they are made for one another. Yes I know it may seem like they hooked up way too quickly but I figure they're cute together so why not?
While maybe a little rushed, this is a one-shot, and it was still cute. I put the Twilight x Starlight ship in my top 5 favorite ships.
For a moment, I thought that was an error, until I checked the tags just in case and remembered that they are anthro in this story. That sure changed my mental picture of the story

This may not necessarily be a one shot, I might decide to do a sequel. I know I'm not much of a fan of Spike but I'm thinking of something funny involving him wondering why they are a couple given they're both mares. Yes I might make Spike a bit naïve in the sequel if I do it but I think a naïve and innocent Spike beats the Spike you see in a fair amount of fics.

Nope. I am not a fan of the whole "dusk shine" thing. I pretty much see him as a cheap copy of Twilight that only exists to make a hetero pairing rather than pairing Twilight with another mare.
