I think the initial bet was on Twilight's orientation (or preferences), followed by various multipliers like if she'd get married, be the first to marry, etc.
Well...it could be worse, I suppose. I mean, thankfully Twilight didnt uncover the Blood and go wild with it to make a monkey's paw cure and turn all of Equestria into a blood soaked land of deranged lunatics craving for Blood.
That or recreate the world as G3.
