It's a good movie and I thought it'd be a really cool idea for a Sparity story. Glad you like it
I'm...actually curious as to Eris' motivations here. I thought for sure that she was scheming something up, 'specially with that whole "ruined cloak" cover story, but now I'm not so sure that her intentions aren't, at least in part, somewhat beneficial. Somewhat like when Discord tries to teach Twilight friendship lessons; they're traumatic and convoluted, but with good intentions. Or is it that the appearance of good intentions is yet another part of Eris' overall scheme for revenge or power? I genuinely can't tell. Congratulations, you have intrigued me.
And though Daybreaker did banish her, she was correct that Luna showed mercy. Did Eris really find that shocking, or was she planning on turning against Luna before Daybreaker banished her? We'll never really know, and likewise, because we don't know, it's hard to discern her motivations here. It's kinda an open-ended question, but it does make or numerous fanfiction possibilities depending on what the writer thinks the outcome could've been. 😉
Likewise, it's up to the reader to decide (at this point) if this is a glimpse of the future (or a possible future), and if Rarity will return to her "own time", or if she'll resist once she sees how happy life is here, or if she'll then want to go back to achieve this future with the Spike of the past. But, on the other hand/hoof/claw, if this is a reality entirely construed by Eris, does that make the other characters genuinely alive, and if Rarity goes back, what happens to their existence?
Rarity's use of the term "real mother", when referring to the other Rarity, is also abit...disconcerting, though I doubt the author meant it that way. It almost makes it seem like Rarity replaced the "real" Rarity, even though they are one-in-the-same. (And by "replaced", I mean erased, and then took her place...almost like a form of unintentional/unwilling murder...though, again, I doubt that was the author's intent.)
Heh, on a lighter note, the scene with the fire burp was cute!

But this raises even more questions. If this world is a fantasy, then what happens to all the unique foals and individuals when it (presumable) ends? Do they fade out of existence, or is this just a foretelling of what will happen and all these characters will will eventually be born anyway with the same memories and personalities?

Great chapter, got to this one a bit late lol But loving the story so far its great
& as for how they got together I have my own thoughts on that. Though I will say I can see the scarf playing a part in it, something like: Spike made the scarf for her & had Twilight use her magic to enchant Spikes fire breath into it, so that every time she wore it, it would always keep her warm. I can even see him saying something like " I had Twilight use her magic to enchant my fire into it so no matter how cold it is, it will always keep you warm. You know since we dragons are bascily walking furnaces, the colds never really been a problem for me" gives a little chuckle & smiles at Rarity as he continues to say " & besides this way even if we are apart no matter where you go, as long as you wear that, then a little bit of me will always be with you."

Wasn't trying to say that's how the story was going or how I wanted it to go. Great chapter, worth the wait
I loved the little family moments in this chapter & I got to say it was cool how Rarity keeps coming back to the hole, do I love spike & talking to her self, its very well done. Looking through old photo's & hearing How Spike asked Rarity to marry him was Great, Spike's a smooth talker alright lol. I'm a bit of a greedy Dragon & can't wait for the next chapter

I feel bad when she turned her daughter down... I've done that so many times... It feels terrible but we are good to keep doing the same things wrong... Thankfully we found s time together with my daughter nowedays reading her favorite book together at night. I've never been good with kids... Trying to catch up all the time I didn't have her all those other times... Because always you're tired or have work to do... Oh well.
