It isn't just about the sex, but it's also about real family bonding, a lot of wholesome moments, and at the same time, the underlying tone of the story is that all actions have consequences. Once you make your choices, you have to live with them, and whatever comes after. It's certainly a unique blend, and I hope that this story does well

And I've been sitting on this one for a while. I started writing this story more than a year ago, as my story "Texas: A Time to Fight!" was getting bogged down with writer's block, but then it got bogged down too, and eventually I finished it, but I then asked my readers if they wanted Chapter 5 of "Texas" first, or this story, and they chose "Texas", so I had to sit on this story for another number of months until I finally finished Chapter 5, and then it took me another week or so to edit this story, and get it ready. So yeah, that's why there was such a huge gap between when this story was originally written, and when I published it

And this tends to be a trademark of all of my stories. A lot of them, even the ones that tend to be action-packed, or full of sex, have a long, slow burn leading up to the action. All of my MC's have a name, and a backstory, and I usually spend at least part of Chapter 1, or the Prologue, introducing them, and telling their backstory. With this story, I wanted Chapter 1 to be a nice, quiet chapter that introduced Arctic as a kid, talked about his past, and began to set up his new life as a Human-Bat-Pony in Deepwood with his new family, as well as him settling into his new life. This story style isn't for everyone, but that's how my stories tend to be

As for writing more, as of now, there is a sequel being planned for this story, however, it's entirely contingent on this story succeeding. If it fails, then the sequel may/will never come, as obviously people didn't/don't want it. So if you want more, cross your fingers, and pray that this story succeeds

When I think of that serum you mentioned, I'd guess that it works similarly to the Polyjuice Potion from Harry Potter as it would likely require a sample from the tribe that the human would partially transform into. otherwise the orphanage would need several variants for each tribe, it would be easier to just have a base serum an then add a sample (hair or blood) to the serum to trigger the tribal traits during the change.
