Yeah, the issue of "ask for fucking help" is kinda screaming in your face every other episode, so I was wondering why the hell they haven't tried yet.
Though I assume that with the amount of hospital hardware and procedures they have, it seems that this particular universe isn't as dependent on magic as you'd otherwise expect. Besides, you'd think that if they knew this was an option, someone at the hospital would've made the call, right? I assume Twilight would've been ecstatic to help out.
This is wacky and silly, but also has a lot of creative descriptions! Instead of "like a prune," "thick," or "guttural noises," we get "the amazing raisin man," "thick enough that an airline would force her to check them at the gate," and "guttural pig noises", just for examples.
