That was a great read! This is a pretty unique spin on the "wish gone wrong" trope. I don't think I've seen it done like this before. You've done a good job with it so far!
I'll see if I can contribute to the wish roster. I think Tempest Shadow would be an interesting one. She obviously wants her horn back, but in the movie she keeps talking about wanting to "show the others what I can do." She has self-esteem issues of some kind. So maybe her making a wish like "I want Equestria to see what I'm capable of." Or maybe " I want my horn back so I can show other ponies my talent." There's a lot of possibilities and ways to interpret that.
Not sure if I can make multiple suggestions, but I'll throw some extra ones out there. Trixie's wish would be pretty obvious. She's got a big ego, so she'd probably say something like "Trixie wishes to perform for the biggest audience in the history of Equestria!"
Sunburst is a bookworm, so his wish would be something related to knowledge. Given his interest in antiques, he would probably ask for some sort of historical discovery or artifact. "I wish to know what Equestrian civilization was like before history had started being recorded." Or maybe "I'd like to know the secret as to how the Crystal Heart was originally created."
Well gave this story a shot, but the second chapter really put me off with Starlight being the only one suspicious and careful
It just reminds me of the Accord saga in the comics. While it was scary to see Discord changing like that, using his powers to forcefully make this more peaceful while stripping free will, it was undercut by making Starlight the only one to see what was wrong. The only one to say anything until it was too late. By that point, I realized that Starlight, and only Starlight, was allowed to Shine even to the point where she, by herself, was stronger than Accord and the Elements.
To me, this drains the horror and one is on alert while the rest are cannon fodder for the horror. If that makes any sense

I get yah. To be honest, this is more for the fun of "How can we mess up wishes" than plot coherency. I would argue that Atamanna has only been there a day, and not everyone has vanished because of a wish from her, but this story is not the one I'm willing to defend to the death the canon of. All I'm saying is that while a wish granting genie coming out of nowhere is suspicious in nature, if offered any wish to be granted, people would at least give it a shot, especially if others had said "yeah, I got my wish", and she doesn't just do the most awful thing imaginable every time (like with Snips and Snails, if you've seen the image for that wish).

I guess then it just feels more like Starlight has her plot armor firmly attached. Maybe if they hadn't shown up and the chapter had been more about spreading word around it would have been more of what you wanted. Like Twilight and Starlight wanting to do research on their new guest.

What she is doing is that sometimes when she grants a wish, she creates small worlds for that wish to take place in (this is not always needed, but it's pretty much up to the Djinn if they want to put someone in such a place, if the wish could require it). In these demi-planes, Atamanna has complete control over time, space, the "NPCs" that exist in it, and to some degree the minds of those influenced by the wish that created the world. Those in them are trapped there for as long as she pleases, and the Rubies that hang from the roof of her tent are all prior realms created in this fashion. These realms, and the suffering that happens within them, also subtlely leak into the real world, and that is why ponies often feel unnerved in Atamanna's home, and they can sometimes hear the torment of the damned when she is granting a wish.
In a sense, she's pretty much a god, with the grand restriction that most of her powers can only be used when someone wishes for something. Otherwise, her abilities are fairly limited. Phenomenal Cosmic Powers, itty bitty living space.

What I don't agree with is how one can doom others with their wish. Dooming oneself is one thing but being able to doom others to the same level of torment is not on the same level. I mean it is okay if say Yona only thinks her friends and family are being harmed, but if they are then they are paying a price for something they didn't order.

Dang, this is kind of really hot, and the lack of outright lewdness almost compliments that. I dig the fast horrible mind control a lot, it's very cruel.
It does seem to deviate a bit from real wish corruption, given how well things turn out for the little butts, though if Ata's only concern is damage to society she's pretty golden. And I'm sure this isn't sustainable long term for those boys, without any ability to deal with colts or adults at all, they really don't have the discretion to keep everypony from noticing forever.
Dunno if I have any good suggestions for wishes, especially ponies that might be in Ponyville itself to show up, but I'm hopeful to see more of whatever you've got!

I see what you are saying, but the Djinn really doesn't care how wishes affect others. In fact, she prefers wishes to cause as much misery as possible, and there is little reason not to involve others in a wish if a person directly requests them to be part of it. For instance, if someone were to wish someone dead, there would be no way NOT to involve them in the wish, though Atamanna can decide to make their death as horrific or prolonged as possible. I realize this might not be to your tastes, but it's just how this universe is run. Even the innocent, who have never met Atamanna, can be affected by her.

Thank you for your comment. Yeah, while I'm not super big into the "foalcon" thing, I can see how something as simple as kissing can be arousing when done correctly, even more so than if you wrote out an actual sex scene. As far as this chapter goes, I'm fairly satisfied with how far I took the foals, and I always found putting limits on one's self can aid in the creative process. "I can't do X, but I CAN do Y". Snips and Snails' situation might not be sustainable, because as you said they aren't exactly the cleverest colts, but that is part of the fun of this wish. It is possible for the two to be caught, but even if they are caught, what can anyone do about this? The fillies are completely enamored with the two, and who knows what they might do should someone threaten their relationship in any way. What started off as a harem might turn into an army of obsessed fillies who will stop at nothing to be with the colts they believe they have undying love for.
On an aside, I wanted to say I really like your OC avi. Really cute. A character I would have included in a bit of art for one of my other settings, if you were interested in such a thing.

I would hope that while anyone who can make a wish is doomed, trying to cheese a win by having someone else wish Twilight is doomed opens up the villain to being defeated.
