The guy I bounce ideas off of and I determined that this course is the single most canon Celestia thing to do in this instance.

I think this story has a lot of potential. Celestia is gambling here, as this could very easily become the straw that breaks the camel's back. Sunset has lost her chance at the human world, but there are other avenues she can pursue if she wants to leave.

Still being a mentor to a young Twilight has a lot of potential for both characters. It could very well soften Sunset, further helping her growth and letting her genuinely become the element of magic as Celestia intended. As for Twilight, Sunset's influence could very well help stop her neurotic behaviour early on and give her a better mentality.

I am excited to see how you take this story and the way these characters will develop
