The hypno bothers me more than it should, since everyone else was consenting and the premise of the event revolves around consent. With the ponies being given every chance to say no.

So no chance of Twilight and the Mane 6 coming back, shouldn't their Rainbow Powers be able to reform their bodies or something, also Changelings don't have stomachs to digest food and if they did have a stomach how would they be able to digest a pony anyway since they are emotion eaters, the stomach would just be a hollow part of their body with no stomach acid in it.

8100838 You sure there is no way they can be reformed, also won't Celestia and Luna, not to mention Cadance, Shining Armor and DISCORD know something is up when the Mane 6 are missing and Discord will be able to tell if a new Changeling has taken Fluttershy's place. Also wouldn't the tree of Harmony or even the Cutie Map alert anypony that something has happened to the Princess of Friendship, I sure would hate to be those Changelings if SUNSET were to find out what they did to her friends.

8100881 Well I still think Twilight and the rest should be able to reform into new bodies that were just like their old ones, also being Hypnotized like that is kind of unfair, after all it's sort of like what Starlight did to the other mane 6 members when Twilight was away. Also Discord will find out and be VERY upset, Sunset will go all Fire Unicorn/Alicorn on the new changelings when she finds out, and yes I think she did ascend after the third movie.

It reminds me of a few other fics where the changelings are walking containers. Kinda makes sense I suppose; not unlike a battery in a flashlight. I'm guessing that in a slightly more serious tone, the ponies would have been coughed up later and cleaned. Heck, this Gorbfest almost sounds like some ritualistic throwback to when/if changelings were nomads and couldn't keep prey in a cocoon while staying on the move so they become their own cocoon.
I could see how this technique could be used for a smuggler/secure courier too. (The aforementioned label depends on the legality of course, heh)

8101497 ok but still what if be like it mane six look like as the new changeling and not owned that let's say instead of king thorax and his changeling keep all souls inside of them (when some let other souls goes to the afterlife) what if thorax orders of his people's to go all souls including mane six and using their magic's on those souls surround them inside cocoons liked whatever you call it (like the one from season 6 finale when thorax became king) one that done all the changeling again use theirs magic to give souls a new form bodies but they's decide what's their soulmate look like as fellows changeling's (like let say that, one changeling that vore rainbow dash giving her soul a beautiful changeling like body for him to loved and mate) one that done every souls inside cocoon become new changeling's (with no memories they's wrote one been ponies in the first place) with new name and personality, to bonds with theirs mate including one changelings (who is twilight sparkle) as thorax queen (think of her as female version of king thorax) became starlight friend when five changelings (one applejack,pinkie,rarity,fluttershy and rainbow now as) are king thorax and queen (twilight new name long with her friends) as theirs elites bodyguards.

I think the dragons would be immune to being digested. After all, they can withstand molten lava. Perhaps Thorax can soul vore Ember by sucking out all her love, but yeah, she might need a little convincing.
You're right though, the whole world would be much happier beingled by Thorax and being turned into semi-willing changeling hunting grounds (I say semi-willing because he'd make it legal for changelings to hypnotizd victims who would be apprehensive about getting eaten!)
8106357 Digestion is about chemical reactions, yeah heat can make them go faster, but with the right chemicals.. Well I don't know what a dragon's scales are made of. But if you can find something they react with you could likely digest them. I have an OC that can avoid digestion by rearranging the chemical makeup of the outer layer of their slime to make it non-reactive to the acid of whoever they are in. They can do a bit of the reverse and make their host digest prey faster by making the host's acid more reactive. In any case heat would speed the digestion, but being immune to lava does not make you immune to acid. Two different methods of melting.

I guess. Though, wven if they're magically immune to the act, I doubt they'd be immune to the mind altering properties of it. Perhaps Ember would have a special designated changeling to just keep her in its stomach forever. She'd have a rapturous existence, and that changeling would never have to eat again! The question would be how the other dragons would get eaten, after all, most of them are pretty big.
8106465 Well I still think your best bet to digest dragon scale would be with some magical compound. (Clearly Spike's at least can be magically altered, look how fast he grew once. [which also might be a means to consume larger dragons..]). Though instead let's assume for a moment they couldn't get the scales to digest due to how resistant they are. What would be vulnerable? Perhaps internal organs? Maybe not the stomach that holds gems very well. But if it could leak elsewhere, perhaps only the stomach and scales would be intact by the end. Dragon scales make great armor, so Throax would have a nice Ember scale armor set by the end of that. And if he follows Link's example he can use her stomach as a bomb pouch. :P

Although, I imagine spitting up the empty hide wouldn't be too comfortable, unless they modified their bodies with their transformative magic.
I like imagine Thorax one day after he's eaten all the leaders to wear evidence of each one: Ember's scale armor, Celestia's crown, Luna's neckpiece, Yakyakistani bangles, etc. To show that he has earned the right to rule through their semi-willing submission!

Gosh, I hate Trixie and Starlight as well as what has become of modern MLP and its fandom... This is a decent fanfic though, so eh...
At first I avoided this altogether, but then I came across it while searching for stuff on DA, and read it there.
And while I'm not sure if I like it or not, I don't necessarily regret reading it. I probably won't ever read it again, unless I'm in a VERY specific mood, since vore isn't my thing.
Though, I do feel like it needs one of two things:
1. The AU tag, since they pretty much end up becoming changelings.
2. An alternate ending, either without digestion at all (and it's just them hanging out in the stomachs for a while), or some special magic that DOES bring them back to life fully, and NOT like this, where they share the body with the changelings that ate them.
Jesus, that got my heart racing like crazy, like really crazy. Nicely done.

You could even have her be giddy over the fact that the Gorbfest is now safe again for ponies now that Thorax is the new ruler of the changelings, and she could even be quite eager to start up annual Gorbfest's, so much so that she starts freaking Thorax, Starlight and Twilight out a bit due to her enthusiasm.
