7949741 Perhaps so. I can’t comment on the romance dynamic because I’ve read one sciset and that’s like the limits of my encounters with eqg romance

And my alarm bells went off when I read that romance for the sole reason of it being a romance

7949761 Sunset's just generally too bold, and often too perfect, for Sci-Twi. Scishy works much better from a character perspective.

I'm somewhat surprised Midnight has enough of a grasp of human psychology to think of threatening Fluttershy like that, let alone realize that it would actually work. In the previous story, she was as backwards as could be.

Always happy to see more of this concept. The pairing's an interesting one, and there's amazing phrases like "Not the false chemical bliss from being the whore of Spruce." Midnight's head is a fascinating place to be. Thanks for taking us there again, and good luck in the contest.
