I just saw this a few minutes ago. I really like this idea. The single point of view with limited input adds a level a terror of its own and adds to the suspense. This was a terrifically exciting and frightening take! Bravo! I really enjoyed it!

And overall, great story. I like seeing how some people still come with sad endings. It makes the whole story more realistic.

Omg that was a scary story! And I loved it....till the end. The end reminded me of the fog be Stephen king. Other than that, awesome story!

The style of story telling you used for this fic was a grand choice. Good horror is not done by focusing on the terrifying monster or gory imagery (although it does help if used properly.) It's capitalizing on the audience's fear of the unknown which you did a pretty good job at.

Through Spike, we saw a world facing a crisis beyond any of their understanding and having no knowledge on how to handle it, and each character was forced to make choices with what little information they had. This story, to me anyway, was a good balance terrifying hopelessness, moral shredding, and stubborn optimism and hope. I enjoyed the ride and would be glad to revisit this world.

Heck, even now at the end i hope that, somehow, Spike survives so we can continue seeing this forsaken world through his eyes. not only because it allows us to see every type of pony on an equal plane as an outsider, but also because at this point, the universe seems hell bent on making sure he lives and suffers through this to document every stage of this nightmare to the very end. No matter how far into the future that is.

Hope to read something from this world again.

Really dark and depressing story and I mean that in a good way. The twist at the end was quit well executed and made sense in hindsight while also giving another point of view for the story. Not only is the concempt interesting, but the execution was as well. The pacing was good as well and you managed to write good action scense. Overall an awesome dark story that made you sad because all the likeable characters you know are suffering and dying. Keep the good work up.

PS: If Fluttershy wasn't infected because she didn't fly why did she become it later on? Did Rainbow bite her or is the progress of flying just an accelerator?
