Well I sure was surprised; didn't think it would make it up there, but I'm really happy people like it so much.
Loneling has been Chrysalis' favorite for as far as he can remember. All his life as been about sex, being a lazy twat and reading books. So he has excellent memory for all his sexual escapades and is awkward as balls.

Only if Twilight does the deed with a changeling queen, that's the only way to make hybrids that will inherit her capacities. Drone eggs are basically a clone of the one who lays them, with some random mutations for diversity, the host doesn't influence the brood. There is one Queen around that would gladly assist Twilight in making babies, but I don't think that would really help the cause.

Chrysalis doesn't lay eggs, she creates hybrids by impregnating ponies the mammalian way. You can check out Nuptial Flight if you want some insight as to how the changeling queen breeding cycle works. Don't be scared by the dark tag, the theme is a little heavy but the tone is very much like Sexual Escapades.

I didn't come up with "Loneling", it's the name he was given by the community (at Derpibooru at least) after he appeared at the wedding. Next chapter will have an in-story reason for his nickname, but in the end he was named like all the other background ponies: brony hive-mind.

I mean if I understand what you are saying, you think that it's weird that she acted so calm before going all kinky? That's her character: she's a manehattanite, she's impulsive and strong headed. She has little shame and is somewhat irreverent. She purposely inhaled Loneling's pheromones to get aroused and weaken his concentration. That's what bad cops do, shake up the suspect so he gives up his story. And she never was professional to begin with. She was flirtatious since the beginning, then became aggressive (even with her colleague) before using her arousal to mess with Loneling.
Shallow and barely described? Well I only gave all her basic characteristics (female, pegasus, blue, chestnut mane) in the prologue, so it's very possible I could have done better, that I agree on.

I wanted a kooky character to bounce off Loneling's nonchalant attitude, kinda like one of those crazy cops you see in comedy buddy movies (I love Rush Hour for example); I'll be careful about her characterization in the future though, don't want her to become so random that she loses any defining characteristics.

I have to admit that my headcannon for changeling reproduction is a little national-geographic levels at times, I may have thought about it way too much. And I do like insects, so that doesn't help. Except praying mantises. Fuck those guys.
I'm glad you like my story; writing is very enjoyable, but if I can spread some fun it's even better! And if you ever find a chapter to be lacking in any way don't hesitate to tell me: happened in the prequel and I learned from it. But I still want to improve. As the Shadoks would say: "C'est en essayant continuellement que l'on finit par réussir."
