That was awesome. And totaly reasonable, of course. Yeah, nothing strange is going on here, nope.
P.S. Just had a thought. It would be great to have another scene with unaware Twilight, but this time its with someone who is aware that she is charmed and uses it for their own purposes. For example, Celestia goes and charms Trixie, makes her forget that she is charmed but gives her power over Twilight (like a trigger or something). Considering vindictiveness of Trixie , I think we can expect a nice "dominated Twilight" scene. It would be especially ironic having Trixie gloat about having this power over Twi while our favourite purple pony can't even comprehend that something is wrong.
... ... ...
Oh, dear.
This is... an emergency. A
sexydire emergency. I can't help but wonder where this is gonna go...I came for/from the clop and stay because of the complot.
Yes totally reasonable. Not at all caused by the charm that she knows about, and knows is affecting her. Completely normal and the door opening totally wasn't the caster, slipping in after charming Ms Cheerilee before twilight came over to do that, or twilight into accepting, and making it impossible to notice her, absolutely normal, nothing strange happening there that was as normal as a monochrome flying pig backbreaking to the 1912 overture. completely NORMAL.
"Would you kindly...?"
Think I've got an idea of who the invisible pony was too.
This is so fucking scary. And sexy. But still, very scary.
This song came to mind with the "Celestia controlling minds" thing.
6259884 With all your talk of normalcy, I couldn't help but be reminded of this:
Hehe, giggity.
Well...Who was the watcher that she was compelled to not see?
Holy fuckballs that was intense! I though you had tensed this thing out but you made it even more tense! I have so many questions! (the good kind, not the kind where I'm confused or plotholes or the like but because I need to know more!) Like: Is Cheerilee the only one who knows this? How many more ponies know about Twilight's "backdoor" as it were? Does Spike know about this? (this one I kind of doubt cause otherwise he'd have her bring him the letter) Does this apply to all the Mane 6? Was it Celestia who did this or did Twilight do this to herself for some weird maneuvering against Celestia? Could the whole door opening thing be a mystery enchanter? Could it have been Zecora and with Twilight letting her in to her house be the sign for Zecora to start enacting Twilight's return plan?
A "reasonable request".
Wonderful. It makes me really want to have played Bioshock...
And the whole mind control thing... That scares me as much as it does Twilight.
Good show, loving the new turn of the story so far.
Blargh mindcontrol is blargh. Only cool when Twi uses it.
Unaware hypnosis is best hypnosis.
Can we get a list of other ponies in Ponyville who had "a reasonable request" for Twilight during those two months (at least the ones who aren't part of future chapters again) and what those requests were? Maybe in a blog post?
Or, even better, a spin-off story with all those things Twilight did, at the side of this one.
6260175 It's probably just me, but I don't think Cheerilee did it deliberately I think the caster charmed her, (there is no way she would do that normally).
I also don't think that the worlds reasonable request are a trigger (Twilight was likely told to do what Cheerilee said)(personally I think they were instead used to make twilight less suspicious cause even under charms saying "go into my office get naked and put on the naughty outfit there sit down in the room and lets get kinky." is a bit to obvious.) That said the original request might have been real before the caster interfered though I doubt it.
If the charms, caster is anything its thorough she wouldn't allow anyone other than her to use an implanted triggers.
I think she charmed Cheerilee and awakened Twilight to do this, it would also explain the door as it was likely ordered by the caster to not be noticed, like Twilight did to Fluttershy when she focused her.
6259989 how did I mange to remind you of a show I have never watched nor knew existed.
As a follow up to my previous comment the caster (I know who it is I just like being difficult) is a complete HYPOCRITE she goes on a rant about how she must free twilight of the charms curse and how its for the greater good (bullshit) then uses it like this for her own amusement karma cant come fast enough. And I prey it is sweet sweet beautiful payback.
Another wonderful chapter, and our first real look at what being under the effects of the charm is like.
I think it's pretty evident that the mystery watcher who invisibly entered the room was Celestia, controlling Cheerilee. The evidence for this is Celestia's attitude toward the charm when she discovered Twilight had it ( As well as Cheerilee's spacey behavior when she was seemingly being given more instructions ). Celestia called living with it "A curse" and I doubt she would inflict what she considers a curse on another pony just to watch Twilight. I do however believe that Twilight has started something here. I kind of doubt this sort of direct action by Celestia was very common before Twilight attacked her with the charm, and I think it's showing that Celestia may have had decent self control over it's use for quite some time, centuries even, but now is spiraling back down toward corruption by it because she was forced too use it to enslave another mind. Kind of like a heroin habit, you can be clean for years but one dose puts you right back on the horse.
6260462 You've never watched Invader Zim? You missed out, man. That show was amazing.
Oh my god, it was better than I ever imagined from Twilight's perspective.
6260462 Yeah I was thinking Cheerilee wasn't completely herself either but given the phrasing of the request (ie that there needed to be an end to the request) makes it seem like it is a trigger phrase but I think you're probably right about the mystery castor and I think that they might have programmed Twilight to respond to the trigger from Cheerilee for X amount of time.
Wow. Scary and sexy indeed
Man, so many people using detective skills already.
LetĀ“s see if I can make a list of Twilights allies in this.
Zecora slipped under Celestias Radar somehow. Either her quetionings on Twilight werenĀ“t really thought through or the charmant the rhyme spell somehow conflicted eachother when Celestia tried to separate them. But that doesnĀ“t explain why there is no mental block on fantasizing about Zecora.
I didnĀ“t take Celestia for the sloppy kinda woman, but she just seemed to be really bad at using the charm, despite her experience. So Zecora is still a point to use as a fail-safe.
And I donĀ“t think that Celestia is suspecting Luna. Our fail-safe number two. As we know, she had to get out of Canterlot so Celestia couldnĀ“t get out any information from her and reveal TwilightĀ“s plot (a really fitting metaphor Dr. Watson!) Either Celestia didnĀ“t use the charm on Luna yet to find out Twilight charmed her as well or she doesnĀ“t care to put a thought-block on her as well. I mean seriously: how hard is it to just say "Tell me who you used the charm on!"?
No I mean it. It should be pretty easy for Celestia to rip every plan Twilight could come up with to pieces. She knows the charm well enough to completely block it. Why are there no blocks on Luna and Zecora?
Then there is that guard from Canterlot. If Twilight made a small mistake on him, he might still have a role to play.
We could consider Rarity as a Unicorn, using the charm to counter CelestiaĀ“s. That is the most plausible thing I can come up with. I donĀ“t think someone would suspect her. They would have had the time to teach her before going to Canterlot. However, she would need some kind of reminder as well.
Maybe she got drunk on the power of the charm and now is using Twilight? (CheerileeĀ“s skirt reminded me of the material which was used for the special dresses for Twilight.)
Following this train of thought would go really really really far off into fantasyland, and it only makes sense if we go really deep (stop the stupid puns dammit!), but I donĀ“t see how we can solve this without a third party involved.
Hrm, there was a brief reference to Twilight having a shaven sex, is that new?
I think it's wonderfully ironic that Twilight's little talk of 'normalcy' at the end of this chapter echoes the words of Rarity all the way back from Chapter Four. As much as I tend to prefer my protagonists being the ones in control, it's great to see the other side of the coin. And boy, this situation is unbearably tense, watching Twilight blatantly toyed with while attempting to piece things back together. The tiniest slip up, and it's all well and truly over...
God, this entire thing is both incredibly sexy and incredibly terrifying.
6260114
Very high chance it's Celestia playing Puppetmaster of this little scenario. Which, really, is even extra scary. I figured Celestia was only toying with Twilight during their 'visits' up in Canterlot, but the possibility that the Princess is visiting Ponyville adds an extra few layers of extreme danger. NOWHERE IS SAFE.
6260482
This.
I can't help but think that Twilight inadvertently created a monster. Everything I've seen so far seems to indicate that Celestia swore off using the charm because of its addicting power. Now, the act of charming Twilight seems to have got her using it actively again.
You done fucked up, Twilight.
ooh this chapter, Absolutely magnificent. the mystery of what i going on is intense. I can't wait to see what happens next ^.^
derpicdn.net/img/view/2013/6/16/350278.png
...wait, did I walk into a different fic?
Well, we've traded one monster for another. One who apparently gives much fewer fucks about being careful with her toys.
6260796
Rarity is untrustworthy in regards to this. Tia almost certainly has Rarity and her other friends primed to out Twilight if she ever shows signs of recovering her lost memories, so I doubt using her as a conduit for reversing the charm commands would be a safe route to take. Until we know for certain whether or not Celestia 'touched base' with Luna in the interim, if Twilight were to try that sort of gambit, Luna would be the much safer option of the two, given what information (or more accurately, lack of information) we currently have.
6260906
That is the real problem here. Everyone who could help Twilight could be easily found just by asking Twilight. There has to be a way to block this information So Celestia can only target her closest friends.
Maybe our collective mind is altered, as I explained in the previous chapter.
Or I am just overthinking this and it is just Gummy, pulling all the strings.
I read this story for the sexiness and the story. Now I also read it for the psychological terror and anxiety. I'm guessing I'll be on the edge of my seat from here on out. Looking forward to the next chapter, as always.
I started reading this the other day, and just finished now. I gotta say, as well written as the sex scenes were, I was getting tired of them and mostly just reading for the sake of the plot- which sounds ridiculous for a clop fic, I know. The chapter where Twilight plans to confront Celestia literally had me on edge, haha. Seeing the effects of the spell from Twilight's point of view was startling as hell at first, and though I was more or less bored with the sex scenes by this point, the one between her and Cheerilee was made all the more excellent by how unprepared I was for it.
Twilight's mindset during all this though truly does reveal how insidious that spell is, and hopefully will erase any moral ambiguity Twilight tried to justify herself with when she programmed everypony to react how she wanted them to. Don't get me wrong though, Twilight is the pony I'm backing in this race, since Celestia has proven to be just as twisted. Though I do hope we get some semblance of a happy ending, even if everypony has to be conditioned to believe it so. Great fic so far.
6260462 OK this is another addition to my comment. The caster has definitely been screwing with twilight more so than what we know. this comment will just point out a few things.
First I missed it on the first read but it say, "expose her shaven sex" which if you recall a previous chapter, was furred and only Applejack, had it shaved as she says she think a owned pony should be clean (not completely accurate quote just paraphrasing).
Also in this chapter it says that Twilight felt "a playful little impulse came over her to wriggle her ass at the empty chair behind the desk. It did feel good to show off her little schoolgirl ass." Yer totally not the caster.
In addition it also says that the clothes are from canterlot (the caster arranged this.) furthermore the door (which I have mentioned previously) when opened and shut twilight instantly makes a seemingly rational excuse for why it happens.
If I had to guess then when she wakes up tomorrow, and re reads the letter (from her past self just to be clear) she will notice some problem's, like why she thought this and why she had a sudden impulse to shake her ass at what appears to be nothing yet it felt good to do so (the caster who she was ordered not to notice but subconsciously know was there to show off to).
Honesty I could go on for days about this but I will say again. THE CASTER IS A HYPOCRITE.
What the actual fuck? I mean, this is great, and its perfect, but . . . you know that sinking feeling you get when something veers off course? My gut sank like the fucking Titanic. Well done.
Yes. Yes. A million time fuck yes.
6261160
She didn't write down what happened. Celestia was clearly smart enough to program her to decide against writing down what happened. And it's got to be Celestia; we already know she charmed her, it's unlikely she'd teach someone else the charm, Twilight was programmed by someone who knew she might write things down even if she thought they were OK... And she did the "naughty student" routine, which makes a perverse sense as the kind of thing Celestia would do to Twilight.
I was half convinced it would be a brainwashing session, but I guess now we know Celestia will abuse the spell.
6261393
"Not worth mentioning" indeed.
I will enjoy seeing the look on Twilight's face when she gets her memories back and deprograms herself.
Like Applejack seeing all those memories at once, but with the added terror of realizing the absurdity of all the "perfectly reasonable" shit she was doing while under the spell.
Though, it's kinda hard for me to be mad at Celestia's actions given that we've been rooting for Twilight who's been doing the same stuff this whole time.
Wintermist, do you realize what you did here? You've made people more concerned about the plot of a clop story than the clop itself. Props.
6259668 ugh god danmit man you have no idea -.- , i was fucking being plagued by thoughts of what i read from this last night for many hours as i tried to sleep , it was not fun at all -.-'.....
i don't know if i can go on reading this fic.....
6261896
Come for the porn. Stay for the plot.
10/10
You gave a clop fic an interesting plot
Blasfomy burn the heritic
6261393 if you read my previous comments, you would see that I do know who charmed twilight, I just deliberately don't say the persons name. I also know that Cheerilee doesn't know the charm. In previous comments I stated I think the caster is there and awakened Twilight to get her to agree and not notice her, and charmed Cheerilee into doing this have a look at some of my other comments.
Also I wasnt saying she will write down, what happened. What I am saying is the letter from her past self says dont trust your impulses, (which might make her question things people under the charm wouldn't) and since its shown that Twilight remembers, but wont write it down or talk about it because of the impulse she will get suspicion (questioning why she can't bring herself to write it down, when she does so for everything else).
The comment you replied to was (the third comment) just pointing out small easy to miss details that show the charms, caster has been doing more that what we know to Twilight. Also that she is a hypocrite.
6260796
I doubt Celestia doesn't know about Luna, because after charming Twilight, she would've found the elements of harmony and figured out how they managed to get them. Who weakened the lock, who changed the guard schedule, etc...
Really nice, it's interesting to see the charm work out of the perspective of the charmed person instead this time. I really hope there's more of this, this point of view is a lot more entertaining imo.
Just one thing I thought about Celestia's reset that doesn't make much sense: Wouldn't she have asked Twilight if there's any counter-measures for her failing, like the letter she sent to herself? Twilight's plan, as ingenious as it is, shouldn't really have worked because she would've just told Celestia everything about it if she asked
6262835
Still she didnĀ“t bother to block sexual imagination with Luna like she did with Twilights friends. Maybe for a Princest-Twi threesome, but I somehow doubt that.
It's seems that the key words are "Reasonable request" Oo
6261160 Yeah the caster is full of her own shit considering what she did to her own sister
When I first read this chapter, I thought that Cheeralee had stumbled onto to a command that the caster had left on Twilight and was taking advantage. But when i reread it, I noticed a few things i missed. One of them being that Cheeralee's gaze going vacante for a bit meaning she was being awakened. I bet all of Equestria is under the charm
6263524 Yer I have said similar things in my previous comments. But without the whole of equestria bit, honestly it wouldn't work it would take too long. I think the caster is using it on specific ponies to have fun with twilight (again yes I know who it is I just like referring to said character as the caster for the sake of being difficult).
The door opening and closing was Celestia, to watch their stint and get off to it. Calling it now.
6259668
As hot as Twilight being controlled like that was, I'm also loving the "plot" aspects of the chapter. Twilight's second-guessing of Zecora felt very in-character, and we learn that she can actually detect details of how her mind was altered, which is surely a feat of great wit considering how insidious the spell really is.
