6727824 This is why I don't sleep, awaiting for stories to be updated.
you're stretching things to far
As upset and stressed as she is, I really hope Rarity does not turn on Twilight.
I would like to imaging that once Twilight has control over Celestia, and has back her friends that she redo what she did to Applejack in Chapter 4 with Luna, Celestia and the mane 6, you know like she would tell them that imaged that they were completely dressed, won't realize that twilight doing stuff to them, make sure that they won't leave the house and she would be invisible to them. That would be nice.
((This post will continue until Celestia is charmed) it will only be one per chapter because i don't won't to spam this),
I really hope Rarity isn't going to become an enemy. Then again, Zecora was mainly angry at how she was freed, not that she was freed. So maybe this is a good thing for Twilight.
Also, I don't know why Twilight doesn't just hit Celestia with the spell already. I mean she was right next to her, and only had her guard half up, it could have worked.
Hm. . . well then all I have to say about the previous chapter was HOLY CANNOLI!! That chapter was filled with so much tension that I almost had a heart attack! That sudden speech given by Celestia was creepy as FUCK! And I'm pretty sure at this point Celestia truly has gone off the deep end here, very much more so than Twilight. Since, now that I think about it, she's always been treated as somewhat of a deity at this point she pretty much sees everypony else as "mere mortals and my toys to play with as I please because I control the sun". And that is extremely terrifying. Like in this chapter, she knows that Twilight probably has some of her memories back and is just toying with her and waiting for her to fuck up so she can gloat about it, and she just essentially made Twilight so horny that she was sex-drunk(and yes that can happen in real life, not just in hentai) that she basically couldn't do anything despite her countermeasures. Even then Twilights countermeasures still had a few holes as we have seen in this chapter, her thoughts weren't entirely her own. Right now I'm definitely sure about what side I want to win, and it's definitely not the arrogant sunbutt up in her ivory tower.
Now as for Rarity I think that she is just confused about all of this despite having so much time to talk with her complete-memory-self. Because she shouted at Twilight for making call herself a "Obedient Slut". I'm pretty much guessing that she is more of a fan of Lovemaking and straight up Fucking. But lets not forget that she was the first one to have a "choice" in becoming charmed or not, she was simply told to see Twilight fucking Awakened AJ as something normal, nothing more nothing less. It was her choice to be charmed so that she can be attracted to mares as well as stallions and become one of Empress' toys. I'm thinking that it's mostly just the shock of having all these experiences then suddenly reliving them with a different point of view would be the most pleasurable of experiences. Put yourself into Rarity's position but in a way most of you might be able to relate, Imagine that you were charmed to be attracted to someone you find unattractive or even downright ugly, you then experience many new and wonderful things but under the pretense that you are attracted to the sam gender, now take away those experiences and relive them again, this time without being charmed to be attracted. I'm pretty sure that you would feel fairly disgusted or downright turned off, not matter how good it felt. I think that its basically the shock of that that made Rarity get the hell out of dodge since she probably has many conflicting feelings at the moment. Going back to my analysis of Zecora way back, I'm pretty sure that something similar has happened. I'm guessing the mental strain that they went through because of the charm might be a bit too much for them as of now, but (hopefully) given time I'm quite sure that they will return to our wonderful Empress.
*edit*
Also I loved both chapters by the way, and I really REALLY hope the next one comes out soon. Seeing both Rarity and Zecora like this as extreme wildcards is just killing me!
6728023
Celestia suspected. It's a good idea to play it safe at this point. Draw a little matrix with her horn and Celestia will probably give her the full interrogation...
6728104
Agreed, if she got over it later, it'd make sense, but it'll take a lot of time for her to sort out her thoughts. As an aside, your name wouldn't also happen to be Jay Derps, would it?
6728026
About Rarity: Not necessarily. Remember, Rarity has a very romantic, idealistic view of the world and of herself. Twilight went into her head and messed with what was in there; changing it to suit her (Twilight's) whims. Rarity is the Element of Generosity, being taken advantage of as Twilight did probably hurt her more than it did Applejack or Rainbow.
6728123
Yes that's true, I think that's what shocked her the most to be honest. It's that she's most likely a "vanilla" type of girl and such levels fetishism would be pretty traumatic. Yes Twilight did mess around with her head, so that she would think of taking over other ponies minds is normal, which was a knee jerk reaction to not getting found out. But I don't think that's Rarity's problem per se. She didn't really expound as to why she doesn't want to be Twilight's, but she simply walked out, she never gave the charm a chance to "force" the truth out of her. So there is still some hope. As much as there is for Zecora hopefully.
6728158
There might be another thing at work here. Remember what I said about Rarity holding a very idealistic and romantic view of herself and of love?
Perhaps Twilight was her first. As in, the first Rarity had sex with. That would mean Twilight took something away from her that she'd been saving for her true love. And if that's the case... there's no easy way to fix it. I'm not sure I'd want a quick and easy fix, either.
6728192
Huh, I never thought about that. Very good point. If that's the case then this is going to be very complicated indeed, moreso now that Zecora is back in the equation.
Good.
I suppose.
Oh, shit.
Mommy, the pretty princess is being scary again! (Never thought I'd say THOSE words)
SHOTS FIRED!
Ha ha, very funny.
Definitely.
Apparently. Also, Mayor Mare, capital M.
Well played.
I hereby dubeth this ship, Twynl! Not my best, I know, but, hey, only so much I can do.
Guess either Celestia composed the music and gave it to focused Vinyl, and made sure the music arooused the listeners, or, more likely, they're all focused.
Yep. You're fucked.
Oh yeah.
Not a word said, guess she is mute, or didn't feel like she had anything to say.
You are way too easily amused.
Very funny.
What the heck?
You didn't come up with her anthro design? Or do you mean how Vinyl looks in general?
Well, looks like shit's getting serious. Is it perhaps that Zecora believes that Twilight will "corrupt" Celestia for the hell of it, and wants to stop her, or is it something else. And as for Celestia, I think she's officially crossed the line into "Hypocritical-ville".
I'd comment "If only I could like this story twice," but honestly, I'd need three or four likes minimum to accurately reflect my adoration for this fic.
Keep up the amazing work!
I'm betting that's Celestia.
And now I'm wondering if Rarity's capable of casting that spell. She's certainly seen Twilight do it often enough(?) Maybe Zecora's going to throw herself at the hooves of a pony who hasn't horribly betrayed her trust, who knows exactly what that betrayal is like, somepony she can choose to gift her pesky freewill to. Or maybe I'm just projecting...
Kudos, incidentally, that not all Twilight's friends embraced their slavery. I think that would've spoiled my suspension of disbelief... Oh, and Rainbow was perfect, just perfect. Even down to the point of making a point of being 'first'.
So, that was the best chapter yet.
Calling it now, Twilight is Celestia, and Zecora is Twilight.
I'm shaking with tension and the need for more. Absolutely worth the wait, but it's going to be 2016 before I get to read more, right? Just so I can prepare myself?
6728705 I've got some time off over Christmas. You never know...
6728203
I really like how she looks in general, and the various anthro interpretations of her I've seen drawn.
6728192 Rarity stated that she'd been with colts before, at the end of Chapter 14.
6728296
I'm fairly certain most people read the chapter before the comments.
Oh Shit, Celestia knows about Twilight regaining her memories AND has implemented new commands on her! That's it man, that's it....
6728883 Where would the fun be in Celestia just forcing Twilight to confess? This way, Celestia gets to indulge herself with Twilight, knowing that Twilight is probably aware of what's going on but has to play along anyway - it's as close as Celestia's likely to be able to get to sharing her fun with someone acting of their own free will rather than purely because of Celestia's control - sure, Twilight's under Celestia's control, but how far?
So, yeah, Celestia still holds most of the cards, and she's maybe added one or two since Twilight found out everything - though it's possible that she only took enough time to tell Twilight to go to the dance party, see everyone there, and be controlled by Vinyl's music, and didn't bother adding any other commands before leaving. A command to go to the dance party along with the established effects of the charm would explain Twilight's behaviour until she got there, her seeing everyone would need another instruction, and her response to the music during the request would need yet another, but the rest is accounted for by Twilight's previous precautions and what we know already. The only obvious potential joker in there is the fact Twilight didn't notice Celestia watching her with Vinyl, suggesting another command - to not see Celestia at the dance - was in effect.
I'm still holding out hope that our favourite ponyville Zebra comes back to twilight.
6728050 Hmm, true, still she is always going to suspect her. The only way I can think of her doing it now would be if she secretly went to canterlot and somehow snuck up behind her. Risky as fuck, but it just might work.
6729762 The main thing is that, right now, Twilight has to cast a spell on Celestia and say a trigger phrase faster than Celestia can recognise a spell being cast on her and say a trigger phrase - so long as Celestia is alert and Twilight is primed to respond to that trigger phrase, Celestia has a definite advantage (well, ear-muffs could also help).
If Twilight no longer responds to Celestia's phrase (and either Celestia can't affect her with the new phrase, or, at least, doesn't know it) then the advantage shifts to Twilight - she still has to cast a spell on Celestia and say a trigger phrase, but Celestia has to say a phrase, recognise that it's failed, cast a spell on Twilight, and then say the phrase again - I'm not saying that there couldn't be an upset one way or the other, but, were I a betting man, and Equestria real and observable from my location in sufficient detail to determine which scenario transpires, I'd be putting my money on Celestia currently; Twilight once she's had a new charm cast on her to change Celestia's access.
6729906 Very true, maybe Twilight should cast it on Celestia when she's asleep.
... oh my.
6729762
That may work, if nothing goes wrong.
Celestia put a trigger in all of Twilight's friends...what if she hid something in Twilight too? Celestia may not be as cautious as Twilight with the commands, but now that she suspects, she may have done it. After all, Fluttershy has been sending her reports...
6730750 True but she was going to have Trixie check her over for hidden commands. Considering we just saw her at Rainbow's place I can only assume she already did that.
6730774
Or...That wasn't Twilight.
Let's see, if Celestia either charmed Twilight to observe Rainbow's reaction, or Celestia disguised as Twilight did this...well, endgame for Twilight, isn't it, when Rainbow Dash brings all the Wonderbolts home and wait for Twilight?
Zecora is a strange case. She could be charmed by Celestia (either by chance or somehow Celestia extracted it from Twilight, but she explicitly 'said' that she wouldn't force Twilight to tell her the truth). Or Zecora could be acting of her own accord. Reasoning is something that escapes me. She could be trying to protect Twilight out of a sense of morality, a failsafe command or something Twilight put in her. The alternative is that this is another Celestia-driven order to see how Rarity reacts.
Two new chapters!

EXCITE.
Heh, feels pretty spot-on for Rainbow Dash. I really love her character in this story, that gung-ho attitude is so hilarious. Same with Pinkie, too. Luna is still best though.
I just knew that Rarity would open with a slap. She's definitely the one who I expected to have the most issues with what Twilight has done. Her sensibilities, after all, are very classy and high-brow. Only Twilight's initial command of "you see this as normal" made Rarity accept all that debasement.

It's a game. The whole thing's a goddamn game!
6728352
Well, I mean, Celestia is already a God (the Greek sort), who rules her own kingdom and is beloved by all. What other accomplishments are there for one such as her, besides the satisfaction of carnal desires newly awakened by a charm which seems to have a tangible corrupting influence on those who wield it?
Twilight, on the other hand,
iswas an inexperienced virgin whose main drive is mastering magic in all its forms. Her goal to start was to understand the charm so she could remove it, but of course that evolved into using it to explore her new domination fetish, which has yet again evolved into a fight for her survival as an independent, free-thinking being.6728595

I can't take this anymore, man.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S REAL ANYMORE!
Gah, did Celestia brainwash the entire town?
I guess she'd have to.
Oh she's good.
6728773
Suspected that might be the case, but lacked the time to go back and chek everything. So, that's not the reason she's upset, leaving any number of other issues such as the degradation, the breach of trust, taking advantage of her, messing with her mind and using her more like a breathing sex doll than a friend. Oh, and not giving her the option to have Twilight punished for all of the above, effectively consigning her to a state of frustrated, impotent rage.
Actually, that last one is something I'd like for Rarity and Twilight to discuss at some point. Twilight believes she's done the right thing, but what she did was protect herself against any well-deserved consequences except possibly losing friendships. Rarity would have the right to call her a coward to her face.
6728799 Its not like the site loads the comments on the top, if you read the comments before the chapter and ruin the twist for yourself its your own fault.

Why are you telling me this?
God, my anxiety just keeps building. I need to know how this turns out, whether Celestia or Twilight wins, or some other third option. This story has single-handedly made unwillingly mind control complete horrifying to me to the point of feeling physically ill. The only other story that has managed to elicit similar feelings on this topic was Background Pony. That story just made me cry and feel beyond sad, this story makes me curl in a ball in anxiety of what's going to happen next, just like Twilight was when she was waiting for her friends to come out of their own desicions,
6731562 Mostly because I was agreeing with you.
6729906 Twilight's greatest advantage remains that Celestia is not treating her as a threat. Instead of acting on her suspicions and stopping Twilight cold she's making a game out of it, which gives Twilight the opportunity to shift those odds.
I'm not sure weather this is because Celestia is bored and overconfident, or weather it is because she's aware that she's lost control of herself, and on some level hopes Twilight can succeed in stopping her where she failed.
The endgame still feels to me like it may go to Twilight. Simply because if Celestia tires of this game, the story comes to an abrupt end.
I love how you are able to write mind control-scenes in so many different ways and from so many different perspectives (seriously, your fic is in almost every folder of the 'Mind Control'-group, that's an achievement right there). The last chapter explored one of my favorite perspectives, an aware and resisting victim that slowly succumbs to the mind control Personally I find that far more interesting than a completely unaware victim. But it's not just the mind control and the clop that makes your story so great, the story itself is amazing, and thrilling. I know you're probably hearing this all the time, but I just wanted to say it once more: You are a fantastic writer and I'm looking forward to updates of this story more than any other fic I'm following on this site (and I'm following a lot of fics ^^)

>Twilight finally awakens Celestia
>Celestia begins reciting a speech she planted on herself, congratulating Twilight on her victory
I suppose it wouldn't make sense with the way Twilight's improved Charm is supposed to override that sort of thing, but somehow I expect Celestia to do something like this.
The vibe I'm getting from this chapter is that Celestia's goal with the "game" is to make Twilight submit to her willingly. In a similar way to what Twilight has done with Luna and Applejack, Celestia is trying to make Twilight so consumed by lust and submissiveness that Twilight happily gives herself to the Princess. The most twisted, cruel fight imaginable will be the one between Twilight's own desires.
And the whole time, Celestia is watching as she struggles through it. Watching as Twilight's desire for independence is chipped away through depraved act after depraved act. Enjoying every minute of it.
Man, if and when Twilight wins, I want Celestia to become the most debased slave she owns. She needs to be the happiest footstool/coat-rack this world has ever seen.
I read the two most recent chapters one after the other, so I'll just tell you my reaction to both of them here.
I'm actually getting stressed out by a fanfic right now. Holy balls. Every time I think this story might be approaching some sort of ending, another wrench is thrown into the works just a chapter or two before I expect it. Just how much do you have planned for this story?
Whatever the answer, rest assured that I'll be here reading every step of the way.
Hmm. Is Zecora about to brainwash Rarity on Twilight's behalf? Will Celestia resist making Twilight her toy long enough for her to finish preparations? What does she need the wonderbolts for, anyway?
I really hope it isn't the real Twilight that showed up at Rainbow's door, otherwise everything Twilight morally accomplished since her battle with Celestia would take a major blow, and I can't imagine Luna being pleased either. It'd also feel quite odd since Twilight's thoughts are constantly about not wanting to involve 'innocent' bystanders and suddenly she wants a bunch of ponies more, on which she'll cast a spell that she can never erase. That permanently leaves a mark.
The fact that Rainbow is wired to agree anyway is also kind of a fault, because second opinions should matter to Twilight. If Rainbow 'could' argue against such things, she might bring up important points, alternatives or talk sense into Twilight. I assume Twilight wants the Wonderbolts for some major scheme to take on Celestia, but I think we all know that it'll end in sex with Twilight's degree of self-control.
On the other hand, if it'd be someone else but Twilight, it'd be Celestia, and that'd mean that the gig is up and Twilight can look forward to a life of being Celestia's mindless sex slave.
I also really hope that Zecora isn't going to conspire against Twilight along with Rarity and rather that she'd try to make Rarity see why Twilight did what she did and how she's trying to make amends, even with Zecora herself still being a bit miffed at Twilight.
6734612 Celestia could have provided a command to Twilight to try everything in her power to awaken the Wonderbolts, for Celestia to then test the Wonderbolts to see if they have been awakened by her, proving Twilight has recovered her memory.
6734832
If Celestia 'just' wanted to know if Twilight had regained her memory or not, she'd choose someone closer to Twilight. Getting to the Wonderbolts requires time, planning and probably help from Rainbow Dash. It'd be just as easy to just command her to try and charm Cheerilee if she ever regains her memory.
Then again, Twilight is being cautious with removing every trace from her targets that could expose her if Celestia asked the right questions.
Also, I really hope the end of this fic is a 'good' end. Something along the lines of Twilight continuing to have sex with her friends, willingly, and Celestia still ruling the country, having the charm wiped from her brain again and with Twilight explaining things and her actions. Maybe a bit of mind-control to remove the temptation from Celestia, which I don't think Celestia would object to.
(and some kind of sexual arrangement between her and Twilight)
hope the wait isn't to long for the next chapet the end of this one got me hyped
6729906
Assuming Twi obtained Celestia's actual magical signature, and not, you know, a fake.
JoE
6739104 A Celestia taking that level of precaution would be unbeatable, but it would raise the questions of where she got a signature that could fool Twilight from, how she avoided leaving her own signature anyway, and how many objects she setup with fake signatures...
It's also possible that Celestia has been using magical mind control all along and the whole thing was setup and scripted by her as a test of some sort for Twilight, and the charm spell Twilight knows is a fake that everyone's programmed to respond to...
At some point, you have to accept the reality that appears to be in front of you, or you can't interact meaningfully with the world around you.
