"In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant.

Civil war is brewing in Equestria, and Celestia is having none of that.

(Inspired by Mr.Number's The Demesne of the Reluctant Twilight Sparkle and Chuckfinley's The Quiet Equestrian. You should read them, they are much, much better stories and writers.)

Love it. The sun sees all and at night you have the moon and thestrals. And he just doesn’t know what went wrong.

Very cool, bravo.

Fanfic of fanfic of fanfic. You have written Fic^3.

(Insert Inception joke here.)

Out of curiosity, how the buck were you the first to favorite this?

My ears tingle whenever someone mentions one of my stories

I have my issues with Princess Celestia, but once in a while seeing her be a total boss is enjoyable. Well done.

After seeing so many civil war fics popping up lately I am quite happy to see this. Leave it to Celestia to stop a civil war without firing a single shot, and then charge the idiot for being a "Public Nuisance".

Oh how much fun it must be to just be able to walk into a room say "I win" and you just DO. I'm sure she can't just do this for every conflict, but when she can I have a feeling Celly savors it!

That was funny. :rainbowlaugh:

I wonder who went thru & down-voted each comment, and why.

It's a curious thing, the lengths some will go to express their dislike in the most meaningless way possible.

If only you could bottle and sell the satisfaction I feel reading this, you'd be rich overnight

Hehe. Cute. We are lucky our benevolent ruler is a benevolent ruler.

She does this long enough and some of those ponies will do something really foolish just to spite her. Like freeing Tirek.

Now that would be a story, wouldn't it? Celestia tries this kind of "lookit me I'ma God lol!" and has it blow up in her face. Hard.

But noone ever writes something like that.

Yes, they do. The problem is that those stories are almost universally terrible.

I've never seen one. However, I can believe most of those existing are terrible. Of course they should have a great deal of care put in them, otherwise they end up looking like a Gary Stu powertrip or something along those lines.
