After Spike stays up all night fixing the fence, Twilight realises that he's been working too hard lately, so gives him the day off. Spike is at a bit of a loose end with what to do with his free day and Twilight faces the challenge of fending for herself, which is of course, a recipie for disaster.

Ok even though this lacks any explnation it is about twi giving spike the day off and what happens to both of um and i have to say its pretty fucking funny. Refrences and life experience abound and if it doesn't make you laugh i can only assume that Pinkie is going to pop out of the computer and start singing since your soul is clearely bleak.

Love the green and purple joke btw :raritywink:

A sweet little story, I like it.

Two hours of showering after that? I'd be in the shower for the rest of the week!

very short, very enjoyable, could quite easily be an episode with a tad more length.

BTW: a plastic teapot??

Remember kiddies, green and purple equals super villain every time.
Spike equipped the Jacket of Swagitude. +10 style.
Poor Twi. :twilightoops:
One would think that a library would keep books of that kind away from the general area but I know nusing (nothing).
And I never saw On Stranger Tides.
I thought it was a good read. Short, funny and I liked Spike's friendship report, ain't those jokes grand?

I know how Twilight feels about unclogging a toilet.

"Ah ha!" she gloated lifting two empty, dripping wet Cider jugs from the system

That is a sign of addiction.

Comics don't count? For shame Twilight.

Glad I found this story. You did a nice job demonstrating how much Spike is willing to do for Twilight, how negligent Twilight can be, and how much she needs him in general. It's always nice to read a fanfic in which she is openly affectionate toward him.

And it was funny as hell, too.

Though it also reminds me uncomfortably of Spike at Your Service, in which Merriwether Williams implied that Twilight keeps Spike working so often that he has no time to develop any hobbies, and wouldn't be inclined to use his free time to visit his friends (implying the mane six are not his friends at all). Not quite as bad in this fanfic, thankfully.

Why has this got a sex tag?

This was a fun and enjoyable story.
