I don't know how you did it, but something this random would usually have me leaving early. But you somehow kept everything together, there was a story, everything was actually sensible, and you kept me hooked by throwing all those names at me. A mysteriously surprising read.

As soon as I saw the name Haskill I knew this was going to be good. And it was.
so, I will note some of the references i noticed, specifically my favorite characters noted here

Artemis Fowl- (this one is just way to obvious for me to put the name of). I mean the kid would stand out horribly, could be interesting for the poor kid to get into a drinking contest
Micaiah- Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Could be amusing to see such a cultured lady in a party, plus she seems like she could actually sort of talk magic with Twilight
Link- Legend Of Zelda (probably skyward sword, as that is the one where (i think at least) he shows the most personality). The dude never talks and everybody knows him, obvious choice
Alex Rider- The Alex Rider Series. Would be pretty cool, preferably the him from the book before the last one (there are so many i forgot the names
Soren- Gaurdians Of The Ga'Hoole (I know for a fact that i spelled it wrong). To me at least it seemed like there were to few animals for Twilight's liking
those were just a couple you could use, also, Pinkie should have told Twilight when she asked if she did anything strange "Oh nothing major, you got wasted and slept with five different men, two at the same time, and attempted to sleep with 8 more", just to see the look of shock on Twilight's face...or maybe I'm just a total douche and a horrible person.

I was thinking maybe work on a group of people for each chapter, like say in one chapter twilight goes around and meets everyone from Halo, or she watches a Master of the Stealth competition between the Assassins, Rangers, Sam Fisher, ect.
Basically it boils down to the fact that instead of trying to put so many references in you should just dedicate a chapter to a group of people.
