Awkward writing. Some bad grammar. A little too much telling in places. Dusk leaps to this test a little too fast.
I'm also a little iffy on anthros, but not vehemently.
Slight peeve - horses don't have fur. They have coats. It's a minor distinction, but it is one.
Aside from that, decent.
I can safely agree this will be interesting. Even with the slight need to fix parts of it, I can see this story being interesting with a dash of awkward and hilarious.

Isn't coats the same thing as fur. It's hair that covers the body. I thought you could use either one. Please let me know if I'm wrong in thinking that.
