Nice story! It's interesting to see what kind of effects the Alicorn Amulet could have on Trixie. This was an interesting read.
I always felt using something like the Alicorn Amulet would like some kind of mark on Trixie, even after she took it off. I really like your take on that.
Definitely would have liked to see this expanded, but as is, it fits the challenge accordingly. I enjoyed it a lot.
good story you should think about making this longer and maybe a multiparter
A very believable backstory for our Great and Powerful mare. I like the idea that she had a goal in mind to spread cheer and help ponies lighten up after a hard day of toil. Somewhere along the way, she must have let the attention get to her head.
And it's only now, when she loses everything that means something to her, that she pulls the memory out and rediscovers her purpose.

A little rushed, but very creative and I was certainly tearing up at the backstory. Also the concept was really interesting.

It's interesting to see different interpretations of what lingering effects the Alicorn Amulet may have left on Trixie. Yours certainly sets it up for good dramatic purpose, giving us a background for Trixie. It's a little bit terrifying to watch her slowly lose her magic and her memories, and be confused by the end because she doesn't even remember that she's losing her magic and memories. I enjoyed the read.
