After a long trans-Atlantic flight Marcus T. Longbottom, a middle aged avid scientist, comes across an odd girl dressed almost entirely in purple in a London Underground station. His rather less than pleasant encounter with the girl winds him up as a casualty in a horrible accident. Then, a month later he encounters the same girl yet again, though this time things got weird to say the least; alternate universe kind of weird. Marcus finds himself trapped inside another body and forced to serve the Royalty of a land filled with nothing but colourful talking ponies and other magical beings. But hey, things can only go up from here, and at least the laws of physics still exist... right?

Rated Teen for swearing and mild violence. As a reference; if you can handle Futurama then you can handle this.

Before Cinch can begin dealing with the aftermath, a certain someone invites her for a visit into a land of magic and friendship.

There really is no excuse for forgetting something as important as a hoof-written law. But Celestia forgot. And now, a thousand years after she wrote it, a law comes into play mandating that Celestia take a two-month sabbatical from her duties as Princess of Equestria.

So what happens when she has to step down for a couple months and leave Luna by herself in the bloody gladiator ring that is Equestrian politics? What happens when Celestia has to disguise herself and mingle with the populace of Ponyville without them knowing?

The short answer to that would be "a string of hilarious chance encounters, sisterly banter, romantic mishaps, and a political coup that was decades in the making."

The long answer, of course, is this story.

So she abdicated her throne and left, to a place where Princess Celestia doesn't exist, and neither does magic, or ponies for that matter. After all, she was no longer Celestia, Princess of Equestria, but Anne Bonny, a perfectly normal Irish girl.

Well, as normal as you can get, being a barmaid in Nassau of all places.

Taking place after the events of the game, she reminisces on all her memories of Earth, both good and bad, the night before Cadence's wedding.

One-shot for now, but depending on reader reactions, this may become a full-fledged story.

A human is reincarnated as a mare with a rare condition, in an exceptional family. Her siblings are destined for greatness: To be the princess of friendship, the prince of an empire... and she, on the other hand, is destined for nothing. And she loves it.

After a life where everyone demanded success from her to the point of driving her to death, now she just wants to exist without the pressure of “being someone.” Will she succeed?

Everything seemed to be going well until, one day, she discovered her talent: The ability to create illusions. So she has made a decision. She will live as a slacker… or maybe, just maybe, as the pony equivalent of "Loki."
