This story is a sequel to Raining Down

The rain hit Canterlot harder than Ponyville. At least in Ponyville they end at some point, allowing a break if not safety until the next. An intermission between the storms.

But in Canterlot, the rain seems to never end. It’s constantly beating at the walls, resounding through the halls, and pouring in the mind.

Luna tries her best, she has done all she can to manage being the primary princess for over theee years. However like Twilight, it has worn her down. How much so, is yet to be seen. The Rain is carrying something, and what it is does not make the lack of a cure better by any means. In fact, it may mean the future is far bleaker than ever imagined, for more reasons than one.

When the Fourth of July arrives, Celestia prepares for her annual battle against George Washington to prevent the end of Equestria as we know it. But when Twilight interrupts their battle, the Element of Patriotism must join his enemies to save the world, lest it all go up in flames.

Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash abscond from Ponyville with no warning or explanation for their friends. Worried, the remainder of the Mane Six strike out to find where they've gone to, and why. Could it be a new crisis brewing? The return of a known villain? Something worse?

Two weeks Luna has been in Canterlot since her redemption. Two weeks and many ponies have come to think all is back to normal even with the relatively new Princess. This is far from the truth as not all is back to normal. Back before Luna had been claimed by the Nightmare, she and Celestia had been close sisters but now they are as separated as ever. The thousand years on the moon has caused Luna to drift away and become even farther introverted than before.

With Luna trying to deal with her unstable emotions as well as trying to fit back into society and Celestia trying to make up a thousand years with Luna, can the sisters repair what has been damaged between them? Not all hardships can be overcome as easily as Celestia has believed in the past, for Luna is a mare that is more damaged than either of them realize.

This is not my first story written but it is my first MLP:FiM story so I would love to see criticism on the story but like anyone would ask, be civil.

Luna is awoken mid day to find a letter, she soon finds out it is from Twilight, the fist pony besides her sister to accept her. Upon reading it she finds implied feelings of love. Her heart soars and she feels warm and fuzzy inside her midnight blue coat. Twilight checks her mail to find that a similar letter has been sent to her from Princess Luna arousing similar feelings. How does the changeling queen get Twilight and Luna Together?

Twilight was reading a book about ancient artifacts when Discord comes in and presents her with it, but in doing so changes her form from Harmony to Chaos.

Will Discord be able to turn her back to her original form, or will Twilight be driven mad by Discord and his incessant staring!?

Music has been a constant in Luna's life. Before her banishment, she'd spent hours conversing with composers about their works, and even tried her hoof at composition herself.

As it turns out, being trapped in your own mind with a power crazed lunatic bent on eternal night doesn't leave much room for music.

Maybe a good old fashioned symphony, a walk, and some company can reignite that spark, or at least give it to someone else.
