A princess from a magical land, with fiery hair, ruby lips and eyes that could melt stone. Rarity's diary reads like a fairytale. But something we tend to forget as we grow is how rarely fairytales end happily.

Many years after the Elements of Harmony found new patrons and many Equestria's sworn adversaries have been vanquished, somepony in the Great Unknown rises from what could have been death itself. Left in a cold world he doesn't understand, this pony is required to find refuge at the last bastion of an old society, and to stand against the threat that seeks to smother the last kindling flame of hope.

Stark has been subjected to some weird things in the course of his life, ever since he donned the iron mantle. Monsters, aliens and intergalactic tv show hosts are just part of the job when you're a hero. But in the peaceful land of Equestria, he will have to face his greatest challenge yet. For he will have to make a choice...and no matter what he chooses, someone is doomed. But what can you do, when you're only a man?

Iron man will once again be based on my favorites versions combined, so expect EMH and more of the cartoon versions than the comics or movies. Same goes for the villain. Gonna be a bit more light hearted that other stories, so expect Tony to be more funny than cynical (though he will be that).

The unthinkable has happened at Canterlot High. A student has taken their own life.

In the aftermath, there are many questions. Why would they do something so dark? What could've driven them to it? Is it anyone's fault? If so, whose? Could this have been prevented?

The Rainbooms hold a meeting to discuss this incident, and what it means.

But even Scootaloo’s capable of falling apart, with the right words; the wrong words. And she heard those words. You’ll never fly.

Now, Rainbow Dash just has to figure out if she’s capable of being put together again.

Twilight thought she had experienced it all. From heart wrenching to sweet and savoury, from east to west. And she has the right to say that- albeit false. She has yet to overcome everything thrown at her. Say for example, death.

Twilight and Sunset will conquer one of the most struggling moments of their relationship. One tries to delay as said the ‘inevitable’, one tries to seek the light at the end of the suffering.

One of them has been broken; the other will resist.

Both will be placed back at Square One.

The question is: will they ever get out? Or will their relationship die trying?

There was one person that Thorax, Pharynx and the other changelings barely mentioned. That person was Thorax's and Pharynx's adopted older brother Beta, who was found in the Hive by them several years ago.

One day, Beta left the Hive and was never seen again, because as much as he wanted to stay with Thorax and Pharynx who he grew to love as his own family, he couldn't stay because of Chrysalis.

After Chrysalis was overthrown by Thorax, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and Discord, Pharynx offered his brother to go out to look for him, but Thorax always declined his offer, even though he'd happily join his brother in his journey to find their brother, saying that he can't because he has to look out after the Hive.

But, one day Beta returns to the Hive, along with three other humans, and a young griffon that happens to be his adopted daughter.

This story starts right at the beginning of season 8.
