Fleetfoot, the second-in-Command of the Wonderbolts, takes a small break after a rigorous training session. Little did she know or even comprehend she'd be reliving not only past traumas but a long lost friend in the process.

This is a story I wrote for the May 2022 Pairings Competition and I'm actually quite happy with it.

Flash Magnus has always strove to be an example of bravery ever since being designated as a pillar of one. There hasn't been a challenge yet that he has been unable to conquer.

But now the pegasus faces a test like no other. He must confront and confess his feelings of love towards a fellow pillar, in this case to his fellow pegasus Somnambula.

As he works up the nerve to tell the pillar of hope how he feels, Flash is unaware that Somnambula has a confession of her own to make. And it's one that might just upend everything he plans to do.

The Grand Hotel in Ocean City, MD has balconies overlooking the ocean. A place to relax and watch the ocean, the beach, the seabirds, a place to catch a nice refreshing ocean breeze. Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle knew eachother when they were fillies. Their parents knew eachother. They were the loving kindergarten couple, the kind that would play pretend as a married couple. In middle school, they dated, and in middle school, they split. Twilight moved away and Rainbow forgot her face.

When Twilight became a princess they did meet again. They loved. They were loved. They made love. It didn't last. The spark had died when they were tweens, and they let it stay burnt out.

One day, Rainbow sits in her favourite bar for her morning breakfast. Princess Twilight walks in. Once more, they love, and crave to be loved.

Twilight was ready for a relaxing day of peace and quiet with only her books for company. Fate had other plans however as a new wave of chaos washes over Equestria.

Clearly this is the work of Discord, who else could be capable of this kind of chaos? But when Twilight and her friends confront the Drconaquus, he denies all responsibility.

However, after some more prodding, he realizes just who's responsible for their current predicament.

Spike is just relaxing, and having some off time to himself, when suddenly he gets summoned by Twilight to do some grocery shopping. Considering that Twilight was yet again busy, he was reluctant, but went anyways.

Will Spike’s errand end well? Or will it go up in flames in stereotypical cartoon esque fashion?

Only one way to find out!
