And golly, I realized recently that it’s once again been a while since I last did a fanfic review. The last time I did one was on the 12th of April this year.
Anyway...
Today, I’ll be reviewing twilightsparkle3562’s “A Queen Sized Apology”.
So! I have a new story coming out tomorrow at 4:30 pm. You all excited? I am.

So for those of you that care, I basically haven't updated ASAG in a year. This is a combination of real-life kicking my ass, me losing interest in MLP, and my original storyboard getting fucking nuked from my PC. I've been working overtime at my job thanks to the labor shortage in the US, so I barely have time to even try and salvage my planned plot points for the story, I just broke up with my girlfriend of nearly 3 years and I caught at the start of December.
Anyone who has been in contact with me personally over the last few months knows that my life has gone through a lot of turmoil lately. Medical problems (multiple cancer scares, Covid-19, my youngest breaking her leg), changing jobs (goodbye post office, hello cushy work from home job), relationship problems (divorcing my primary partner and my secondary partner decided to go mono with her primary), moving, finding new roommates to replace my (ex-)wife's share of the financial burden. Several exciting updates to share! Firstly:

Secondly, as the odd title implies, we have shed the savage ties that bind me to the binary realm--ie., I just put out a paperback book!
I know my OC story is still incomplete, but I want to write another story while trying to figure out what to do with the OC story. The new story wouldn't be too long and it doesn't include any OC's. It would be a slice of life type of story, almost a romance between two mares. I don't want to give away too much, but it's not that common pairing in my opinion. It would be a cute, heartwarming story with a potential for a sequel if people like it.
Some lessons learned in this episode:
If you're going to be heating oil to deep fry a turkey, don't fall asleep while heating the oil and do it outside
If you drive through an active crime scene, the police will chase you
If you try to smuggle a knife in a loaf of bread onto a plane, you're going on a list
If you drop your pants on a flight and pee in the aisle, you're going on 2 lists
I know I have a habit of this recently, but I do think it needs to be said, and it's this: although I say I might hate somebody for whatever reason, I seriously don't. I can hate somebody's guts, but never the person they are. The only ONLY reason that I'd hate a person fully is if they did something that affected me on a personal level that sends me into a fit of rage.
When Viking ZX brought up the LTUE Parliament of Wizards anthology, I was inspired to write a submission. However, I won't know if my submission will be accepted for a while, and if it is it won't be available for public reading until 2022! I've decided that's far too long to wait in either case. I don't want my entry to languish unread for years, I want people enjoying it!
If you don't know or haven't read my last blog, I stopped actively writing stories on Fimfiction. I'm still logged in and always check my noticaticions every day, but of course I'm not writing so I'm not really expecting any comments on stories, though I have seen a few people add a few of my stories to bookshelves and my immediate thought was "why" why would they want to add ME to their shelf?
Hey Fimfiction. Sorry we left on depressing terms with the last blog post. I’m glad to say that’s shifted a bit in the months since. My depression was pretty brutal for most of the first three months of the year, but in April that really began turning around. I’m glad to say I’m doing much better than I was. So, I guess it’s been a while since Christmas and my last blog post. Well, I do have good news for you. I am now employed at my local wellness center after a year and two months of unemployment. Not only that, I have updates in the works for multiple stories.
