For the fans that are eager for new eras of the Power Rangers franchise (which has been reinvented — or, ahem, morphed — more than 20 times), EW has revealed some new details about Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury, which is slated to hit Netflix this fall.
'Cause this is definitely what we need at the end of the quarter smack in the middle of tests.
Chapter 4 of Power Rangers Element Fury has been posted, and I promise to have the next chapter out as soon as humanly possible. Promise.
Trying to capture the feel of old school comics and radio shows, this new series will be a bunch of one-shots in the style of superhero comics featuring the ACTUAL Power Ponies, not the Mane 6. Cover art will be done by CrimsonRose97.

This is just something I came up with, but I'm sure other have done it, but what if the Mane 6 became Power Rangers? And I'm more on the human Mane 6 rather than MLP mane 6, but they're connected. Basically, Princess Celestia was once a ruler over earth, but due to everyone leaving & doing their own thing, she has since then become nothing more of a myth. Storm rolled through this morning, and seemed to have knocked out power across the entire county. We managed to avoid the tornado watches, but still. Cell signal is still operational, obviously.
The chapter is written, but without power, it's a might difficult to do all the necessary proofreading. Hopefully the power comes back long enough before I have to leave for work that I can get that done, pick and insert the music, and get it published on time.
It was my intent to have another issue of Power Ponies up in time for Halloween, but due to a combination of being busy with other projects and a rather low turnout for the first issue's readership I probably won't work on it this year. I'll probably also be a bit too busy playing new games as well over the coming period. Like the coming Pokemon games. I still look forward to telling the Power Ponies stories, I just won't this year.
In today's time of f**ked up reboots, from Michael Bay's Transformers and Ninja Ogres, to many of the live action attempts of bringing anime to the big screen that offends TUMBLR because of 'white washing'... I can say that the new Power Ranger is great! It's no masterpiece, but I can say that this is far much better than the original Power Rangers movie, where they had Apocalypse before it was cool.
