Sunset Shimmer was gone. 

That was all everybody knew and cared to know about. 

Despite the raging she-demon possibly having a chance at redemption, those beams had managed to dissolve her existence. 

Entirely. 

Or so they thought. 

As a new student enrols in Canterlot High, claiming to not be enemies with Sunset, but frenemies with her, things take a turn. For the better, or for worse. 

It's spring everywhere! And what better way to celebrate spring than throwing a spring festival at the park in Sheet Rock Hills! But when they need help getting ready along with the stage needing to get fixed there's one man handy enough for the job. Handy Manny!!

It's graduation day. Sunset watches as her friends make their plans for the future, each having dreams to chase, and college to look forward to. In contrast, Sunset is filled with uncertainty and indecision, unsure of her own path in life.

Can Sunset conquer her insecurities and, with Fluttershy's guidance, find solace?

Spike and Inferno met Periwinkle who moved to town a while ago. But then the all got big news when they heard that a magician is coming here to perform a show later on. And they got even bigger news when Periwinkle gets a letter saying that this person wants to meet him after the show! But who is it? You'll need to play Blues Clues to figure this out!!

Lyra is one of the more prouder and outspoken Wondercolts, often unafraid to show where she stands. She shares similar sentiments with her classmates that the Shadowbolts are arrogant and jerks. Even Trixie agrees with that sentiment and shares a hatred for their rivals. She probably hates her former friends that attend CPA more though, internally hoping she doesn't see them during the Games.

Sunset just doesn't like people who remind her of who she used to be and Crystal Prep is full of people like that, from Suri to Neon Lights.

Sunset Shimmer has dreamed of becoming a racing driver for a long time, ever since she saw a car race in person. However, she is restricted to racing virtual cars in video games, since she doesn't have the money to compete.

One day, after winning a race in a video game, she and a few lucky others get the chance to become real racing drivers. However, a lot of speculation rises in the racing world, if gamers can handle a real racecar, on a real track. Can Sunset and her team show the world that they do have what it takes?

Takes place in a separate universe from Equestria: World War II. Inspired by the Gran Turismo movie.

With her parents gone for the week, Twilight decides to invite her friends from Crystal Prep to her house in an attempt to get to know them better. It goes surprisingly better than she hoped until Lemon Zest brings out a card game she wanted to play with them all. What the heck is cards against humanity?

A human fell through one of Midnight's portals during her magical rampage; and now he's in a 7,000 foot free fall while slowing transforming into a horse. A lot to think about on the way down.

Doesn't help that this particular human/now pony is asocial, standoffish, zealous, borderline psychopathic, and in a state of violent mental frenzy. Not the best things to be when coming to a peaceful pastel pony world.

The only thing going for him is he wants to do better.

Will twilight and her friends try to reform such a being so antithetical to friendship? Give him the discord treatment and turn him to stone? Send him back and seal the portal?

Only time will tell. For now though, The amount of time our protagonist has to figure this out is exactly 12.32 seconds.

The series idea came to me when I thought:
" What if the series tackled more mature themes? "

1st person narration is not only limited to that creature's knowledge, but will also take on their state of mind.
When in 3rd person, it is omniscient but will still sometimes take on a state of mind of a creature in the scene.

Want to test my writing with this one. Will try to write more and more challenging subjects as time goes on.
All criticism minus something that can only be seen as a nitpick will be appreciated.

Author note: In this universe the characters are regular humans so no parallel pony world or rainbows laser and such.

Sunset Shimmer used to be evil. Like, really really evil. ... maybe high school bully-level evil.

Stuff like that doesn't just go away. Sometimes, the good guys have to get tough to get going, and Sunset's not afraid to mug a few dark lords for their lunch money. They were gonna use that to build death rays or something.

Or at least she would mug them, if not for one minor problem...

Equestria Girls is only tagged because Sunset. This story features only ponies in pony form. This can be considered a Reverie Equestria story, and honestly I shouldn't publish this until after the rest of that, but I don't care anymore.
