Being a princess is stressful, but your peers and friends can certainly help.

That was what Twilight had in mind when she invited Luna over for tea one afternoon. A relaxing, friendly meeting between two fellow princesses where they can commiserate and share their experiences. An invitation to a stronger friendship than they had before, offered to a pony displaced in time.

What she got was an uncomfortable assertion about her relationship with her number one assistant, Spike. One that she is having difficulty refuting.

As Flurry watches over her Aunt's last hours, she has to reflect on a world without her last connection to her past. As she comes to terms with what's ahead of her, Twilight prepares in her own way for her end through memories and dreams of friends long gone. As the two move towards the inevitable end, something from the past may end up helping both of them move on.

Quick Authors Note: This is my attempt at something bittersweet. It's new territory for me and I completely understand if the passing of our favorite magical horses is not something you want to read about! If you do, I really do hope you enjoy and leave any criticisms and critiques you feel necessary! I'm always looking to improve!!

A lot has changed in the years since Twilight Sparkle left Ponyville to become the ruler of Equestria. Weddings and breakups and newborns and fashion empires and becoming leader of the Wonderbolts.

But Applejack is still where she has always been. At the edge of Sweet Apple Acres, resting against the dry stump of a long-dead tree, watching the sun set on the horizon after yet another day of honest work. Watching the years tick on by. Not getting any younger.

Today, Rainbow Dash is there, too. She isn't getting any younger, either.

Continuity

A partner piece to Companion, which expands on the future of the RariTwi relationship mentioned here, though that relationship is quite unhealthy.

Author's Note

Not only am I a 100% Rarity simp as my current bio indicates, but I also am a total simp and cuck for the RariJack ship. Yet older AppleDash is canon, thus I must bow to its reality. Both Companion and this story are my way of resolving this, though this story is the much happier half.

It was an ordinary bit. Like all the others, bearing the face of the new Sovereign. No longer the naïve young alicorn Capper once knew. Older. Wiser. Aware now, of just what kind of a place Klugetown was. Aware of what Capper almost did.

A fitting thing for Capper to contemplate while ruminating over his past. While wondering what is to come. He would find out soon enough.

Based on a couple of lines in and set in the past of Companion, though it is not a direct prequel.

Fluttershy wakes up to the sound of birdsong and the sight of a beautiful day. She's going to go to the spa with Rarity. But Angel Bunny is missing, and there are ponies with scars who were healthy yesterday. Fluttershy can't put her hoof on it, but something isn't quite right.

An extended entry for the Quills and Sofas 'Sensational Sci-fi contest'. First half was written in an hour, the other half in about 2 hours.

Flash Sentry knows their relationship was never meant to last. He's a human guy; she's an immortal alicorn princess from Equestria. No matter how hard they try to make things work, he knows that sooner or later life will creep up behind them and something will finally give—be it him, or her, or them both.

So what's the point in trying when they've always been fated to part?

But before she can go on her date, she needs to retrieve her journal, which has become unstuck from time. Her journal, full of hopes and dreams and pleasures, none of which can ever be allowed to see the light of day.

It’s a story of love, science and time travel, and the lengths one pony will go to for all three. Paradoxes be damned; Twilight has a date!

For some reason, Twilight and Rainbow Dash's friends think they're dating even if they show absolutely no signs of doing so! They were just really close friends...

It's been fifty years since the last of Twilight's closest friends passed away. The burden of immortality is a heavy one that can break even the strongest of wills. But Twilight swears she's fine. After all, as long as she remembers them, they'll always be with her. And she has a very good memory, so it's like her friends are still there with her.

Still, Celestia does her best to offer a compassionate ear, just in case. It's just... what is that sound?
