The main crew, the Dazzlings, the Shadowbolts, and others all get invited to the CHS yearly dance. Everyone is there for about the same reason, but as the night goes on, their reasons change.

Each chapter focuses on a new set of people. Every chapter is about the same party, just from different view points.

Basically, find a couple you like and read about what they do, or try reading new ones, or read all of it...it's up to you.

While out shopping for Hearth's Warming gifts, Vinyl and Octavia break out into a snowball fight. This ends about as well as you'd imagine.

It was about ten years ago today, I still remember it like it was yesterday. She was new in town, and hardly anypony knew anything about her. But, there was something about her that attracted me to her. I couldn't put my hoof on it, it certainly wasn't the way she looked, or the way she seemed to have a "no bucks given" look about her. But, I just knew she had to be... the one.

Octavia and Vinyl Scratch have been friends ever since they were fillies. One is dealing with unrequited love, the other with new and confusing feelings. Can their love for music bring them love for each other?

Vinyl Scratch is hard at work on a new song, but hits a creative roadblock during production. Seeking advice, she decides to contact her musically inclined friend Octavia. The stressed out beat maker soon learns that even a classically trained artist can offer some encouraging insight into the creation of electronic music.

So, this stallion... he's an alcoholic, right? It's sad, really. He walks around Ponyville trying to look for somepony to chat with. Maybe even go futher with them.

Octavia Melody. Despite her youth, she is a very well-behaved little girl with a passion for playing the cello. Her step-sister, Vinyl Scratch, is a very free-spirited, playful, and rambunctious little bundle of trouble.

Despite the vast differences between the two of them, they're still closer than step-sisters could ever be. Even now, when they are still in their early years at elementary school, these step-sisters have quite some stories to tell...
