A different take on the G5 comics issue.

This story includes Fluttercord angst and largely inspired off of Sandy's G5 Fluttercord comic. Fluttershy is tagged however she doesn't necessarily physically appear in this story as she has already passed on and simply recalled.

My take on Discord here is slightly different to the way he appears in the current issue just for my own reasoning and personal preference. If you don't like depressed Discord then this story most likely isn't for you.

It's Cozy Glow's birthday! While her mother, Chrysalis, gets her ready, her father, Tirek, and uncle, Sombra, prepare the party.

Zephyr Breeze makes a rude comment that gets Fluttershy thinking about the nature of her and Discord's relationship.
She and Discord have grown so much, but is she really doing the right thing?

This fic is my attempt to fix the problems I see with Fluttercord in the show, and show growth beyond the dynamic they had during the main show.

While they've been a couple for a few weeks now, Fluttershy and Discord haven't yet gone out on a proper romantic date. So Discord asks Fluttershy out to dinner. Naturally, Fluttershy says yes and the two of them head to a restaurant in Canterlot.

How will their first date go?

However, it's gonna take more than just their friendship to save Equestria this time. It's gonna take the power...of dark-tinged rock and roll!

Sunny's been an Alicorn for a few months, but can't seem to figure out her destiny. She's also been concerned over the disappearance of her long lost mother. Seeking answers, she and her friends head out to uncover the truth. The answer may just lead them to the very answer of why friendship left Equestria to begin with.

Shortly after her transformation, Sunny Starscout is keen to know more about the magic that led up to it. After going through her father's old research, she stumbles upon the legend of an ancient amulet and the alicorn who wielded it.

It is now up to Izzy Moonbow and Alphabittle to voyage across the sea, to the Griffish Isles where the amulet is said to be located. Its discovery could be the key to finding out more about the powerful magic behind Sunny's transformation.

This is a what-if scenario, where Izzy doesn't arrive on Maretime Bay after the Annual Presentation at Canterlogic, and Sunny returns home after her conversation with Hitch at her smoothie stand.
