It has been three months since Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo confessed their feelings for one another. For them, life has seemingly gone back to normal. However, everything changes when a new foal comes to Ponyville and ignites feelings within Sweetie Belle, feelings that she hadn't felt in a long time. Their love, loyalty and trust are put to the ultimate test as Sweetie Belle must face a shocking revelation: are her feelings for Scootaloo true or was it all just a phase that has run its course?

In the warmth of her cloud home, Rainbow Dash is about to turn in for the night when she hears Scootaloo crying outside in the middle of a vicious blizzard. Plucking the freezing filly from the snow, Rainbow hopes to provide some much-needed comfort for the otherwise tough young pegasus, but she uncovers a disturbing reality that she knows she cannot handle alone.

Knowing only one pony that could really help her out, Rainbow enlists Twilight’s help, determined to set things straight for Scootaloo. But what Rainbow doesn’t know is that in her efforts to provide a better life for the filly, her friendship with Twilight will develop into something more.

Do you sometimes find yourself lying awake at night wishing, praying even, that there was more TwiDash Scootadopt fics? If so, then I am pleased to announce the Sparkle Dash Family series!

These are my writings for thirty minute pony stories that I've written with a TwiDash Scootadopt theme. For the most part, they will all take part in the same continuity, unless otherwise noted.

Scootaloo has become unusually distant of late, and Rainbow Dash is worried about her - not least because she never seems comfortable about the subject of her parents. But why doesn't she want to talk about them, even with her "honorary" big sister? Why does the mere mention of her parents bring tears to her eyes?

Back at the Wonderbolt Academy, Rainbow Dash confides her concerns to Soarin, and learns a terrible secret, not just about Scootaloo, but also Spitfire. The latter's sister, who was also Scootaloo's mother, had tragically lost her life some years ago, leaving Scootaloo to look after herself while her father slaves away from dawn till dusk. The two ponies head down to Ponyville to try and reason with him, but things get out of hoof, leading to an angry, lonesome Scootaloo running away from home. As the three adults try to find her along with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, they gradually learn that there is more to the situation surrounding Scootaloo and her father than meets the eye...

This story is a sequel to Promises

Scootaloo's settling in to life with Rainbow Dash. It's smooth sailing from here right?

Now with a Reading

After trying her best to avoid it, Scootaloo is reluctantly convinced to accompany Sweetie Belle to their school graduation party. As the night goes on, things feel like they're going form bad to worse for the young pegasus. To Sweetie Belle however, it seems the event is a little more important, and in the end Scootaloo comes to realise that there's a lot more to Sweetie Belle's reasons, a whole lot more than the unicorn is telling her.

Sweetie Belle has a crush on her best friend, and when she directs a school play staring Scootaloo as the heroine her world quickly comes crashing down around her.

So I once told a pre-reader of mine that I didn't write ship fics. Ooops.

This story was blatantly inspired by The plays the thing, but it's okay because the author of that fic HMXTaylorLee graciously agreed to pre-read and edit this for me anyway, so go check that out. Also thanks to Alovelylittlecomplex for (again?!) fixing my comma issues.
