However, after some time, Celestia has enough and is almost ready to banish him and turn him into stone again when the Princess of the Night has a brilliant idea...

With Twilight Sparkle still adjusting to life as a princess, Rarity becomes convinced she can help her friend by finding her a special somepony. And when that somepony turns out to be Fluttershy, awkward dates and adorable moments are sure to follow!

My prompt was: She could do nothing but watch as the consequences of her actions unfolded. (Character need not actually be female.)

Reeling from the loss of her brother, Twilight has slipped into depression so deep that even reading the most cheerful romance novel can't make her smile in the least bit. Her marefriend of four years, Fluttershy, has gotten more and more worried as the days passed. Perhaps she has a sweet surprise for our depressed unicorn.
