Based just a bit after "Bats!" we find our favorite shy pegasus still feeling a little batty despite Twilight's reversal spell. Not wanting to cause anymore trouble Fluttershy decides to keep it to herself.. until Spike happens to find out accidentally. A one-shot (or perhaps more) regarding the possible outcome(s) that would result from Spike the dragon trying to help his timid friend cure herself while at the same time keeping a secret that he less then enthused about.

Another attempt at stepping into new territory for me which I hope you enjoy.

Pinkie Pie is bringing her big sister Maud around on a tour of Ponyville. While looking around Sweet Apple Acres, Maud loses her pet rock, Boulder. She receives help from Big Macintosh, and the two have a nice, deep conversation.

After the Battle of the Bands, the Dazzlings left, defeated and very angry. Well, two left that way. The blue one was left, abandoned. Her name was Sonata Dusk. One Hearts and Hooves day, Rarity is helping Twilight test a new transformation spell that ends up with her becoming a giant dragon. After being chased away by the frightened citizens of Ponyville, Rarity flees to the mountains. Spike then has to set out on a journey in order to save the girl of his dreams.

EDIT: I went back into the story and fixed a bit of proof reading errors and I touched on some of the issues with dialogue that Macho Madness brought up. Overall the story is the same but some of the character interactions are a bit different if you want to check it out. Also, for some reason, and only Macho seemed to notice, the indentation is really weird and for some reason I can't fix.

"He truly loved her and knew she loved him just as much. The dragon gulped deeply as a fluttering sensation occupied his stomach. He didn't just love Twilight as a friend."

After finally giving up on Rarity, Spike realizes that the true mare of his dreams has been in his company for a lifetime, but is unsure if Twilight would ever consider him as more than a great friend and assistant. The only way he can find out is ask.
