The Humane seven come over to Equestria with Sunset Shimmer to celebrate the defeat of the terrible trio. While having a fun time, the human Rainbow Dash overhears one strange stallion’s suggestion for what to do with the petrified villains. Needless to say, she’s pretty pissed.

"Bitter Tears" ended on a bittersweet note, with Sunset determined to heal and move on from the Anon-A-Miss incident, and her friendships with the Mane 5 as strained as ever.

This technical sequel is a series of oneshots, in no particular order, that shows the different P.O.Vs of the characters who were affected by the events in the previous fic - from Sunset to CMC, and even the Dazzlings, and how they're adjusting to their now-human life after their defeat.

For years, Luna has endured the guilt of Nightmare Moon and subjected herself to the nightmares of the Tantabus as punishment. When she lost control of it, her friends in Ponyville were able to stop it and things seemed all right for a time...

...but what about Celestia? What about Luna's closest friend, a pony who had no idea what was going on in her little sister's mind?

Twilight Sparkle of Equestria is brave, confident, a capable leader, a powerful wizard, and a princess.

Twilight Sparkle of Earth is none of those things.

So why would an absolute goddess like Sunset Shimmer be interested in her? Because they look similar and share the same name? Because the real Twilight is off in Equestria? That must be it. She's just a placeholder. A low grade knockoff of what Sunset really wants. And sooner or later, she'll end up disappointed. They all will.

After spreading the world of the Storm King's demise, Tempest Shadow feels it is time to further atone for her role in his attrocities by leading an attack on Klugetown to liberate the slaves being imprisioned and sold there. After a rousing speech to convince Equestria's Royal Guard, and an appeal to Queen Novo's desire to make up for years and years of cowering in Seaquestria, an army of ponies and hippogriffs is ready to shatter Verko's hold on the town. With Tempest Shadow, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and the other five Element Bearers leading the charge, victory is all but assured.

What's more, two of the brave creatures among this army are about to have meetings that will significantly alter the course of their lives.

Tempest Shadow was forgiven, and assigned to Twilight Sparkle's personal guard. Another villain reformed, another new friend for Equestria.

Another villain who didn't face justice.

The Noble Court has finally had enough, and has gathered together to form an inquiry into Celestia's reasoning for letting so many villains off the hook. The time has come to have the Princess of the Sun reveal why she's let so many of Equestria's most dangerous threats off of the hook.

They have to be careful, as Celestia has hooks of her own.

For years and years, Grand Pear refused to go back to Ponyville, his pride utterly bruised by his daughter's choice. How dare she choose an Apple over her own kin! How could she do that to him, his own little angel, with her beautiful voice and the songs she learned on his knee?

For decades, he never dared answer his own question. And it's not just the guilt that's creeping over him in his old age. Not anymore. He stayed away for too long and has let too much fester in his heart.

Now his own wife WILL make him face the music. Pear Butter is no longer around to play. But it hardly matters, because old stallions can't dance again... can they?

The minotaur business tycoon, Well-To-Do, is likely dead, his dastardly schemes to build an amusement park in an inconvenient location foiled. All is well for the deerfolk of Thicket again. As the plants recede and the ponies go home happy, Celestia hangs back a while. She and her old friend, King Aspen, still have some matters to discuss.
