Dash has always wanted to join the wonderbolts, but nopony has ever asked why. Dash wants to join for two reasons, 1: its the wonderbolts! 2: She wants to get closer to spitfire.

But what Dash doesn't realize, is that Spitfire has a massive crush on the Cyan Pegasus.

Rainbow Dash gets a letter from Spit Fire to discuss the opportunity of getting Rainbow on the Wonder Bolts. So in the three months training a slight "more than a friendship" thing comes out between Rainbow and Soarin. Making this really a dream come true.

Octavia Philharmonica is a desperate mare. Her involvement in the ill-fated "pony pokey" at the prestigious Grand Galloping Gala has left her blacklisted among the elite of Canterlot who form her clientele. Faced with the possibility of being evicted from her apartment for inability to pay rent she decides to take a temporary job at a local nightclub. Of course, she's never set hoof in a club before and has no idea what she's getting involved in . . .

This is a story I've been piecing together in my head and tossing around with a lot of potential storylines. I've finally settled on this one and I believe it's everything i was hoping for. Anyway, what happens is the secondary six meet up and go on a variety of adventures I make up on my own. I fully intend to spin off a lot of the songs from the actual show so i void any rights of my own to that. Word of warning also, this is not a main story to me at all. This is one I'm working on that takes place in the same timeline as Light and Shadow, just much earlier on, and I'm only going to be working on it at all after I'm sure the weekly update for Light and Shadow is ready. Also, this story will have a definitive ending point right around chapter 20, and there will be no real story ark.
All the bad stuff aside I like to think that I've taken a really nice common idea and given it a great revamping. So read on!

In said community, however, everypony has a coming of age journey, a rite of passage, where they venture into Modern Equestria and are given the chance to decide for themselves who they want to be.
