This story is a sequel to Blink Again

The truth of teleportation has been discovered; the full knowledge of its horrors known by a select few while the rest are given vague warnings of mortal peril. All use of teleportation is banned, all texts on it under lock and key, and all research into the subject placed strictly under government oversight.

As for those rescued from the pocket dimension, they must determine what comes next. Other versions of them already exist, filling their roles. Perhaps a new direction is in order. After all, the truth behind what created the spell remains a mystery. For now.

Part of the Blinkverse, by ocalhoun and many others. A timeline was created by Cocoa Bittersweet to keep track of these stories.

This story is a sequel to Blink

Teleportation is a mysterious thing. Is it as simple as it looks, or is it really just some copy that appears to take your place? The latter, it's definitely the latter. Too bad there is no way to know without trying it yourself. Now, stuck in a death-filled place with no magic and only her double for company, Twilight faces starvation and worse unless she can escape. But how does one escape without magic? Most would say you can’t.

Unofficial sequel to Blink by ocalhoun and one of its prequels, Not The First, by Flash Notion. A timeline was created by Cocoa Bittersweet to keep track of all stories within the Blinkverse.

It should remain that way.

You are Anon, and you've received another letter from Applejack. You're not going to reply to this one, just as you refused to reply to the many letters she had sent you over the years. Unfortunately, Applejack isn't going to let you ignore her any longer. Maybe it's about time you two had a talk.

Just a short one-shot greentext I wrote a few days ago after seeing an interesting writing prompt. Decided to touch it up and turn it into prose form so I could post it here.

EDIT: Wow, I didn't expect this story to get so many hits in such little time. Thank you to all who read it! Consider giving it a thumbs up (or down)!

The duality of the Two Sisters has always been a mystery. Night and day, winter and summer, frost and fire. But despite being so opposed to one another they have managed to rule together for thousands of years. It seems to defy all reason, but the world continues to turn.

But there is more to the story than that. The balance of power has been the sole universal constant since the stars were born and the sun was set aflame. The Two Sisters represent far more than the changing of the skies, and it may be that true Harmony is more sinister than it seems.

Memory. Memory is one of the most crucial elements of life to the point we do everything we can to commemorate it and preserve it by every means possible. Calendars and holidays, journals and books, old myths and legends. Ponies employ these means to keep their memories close and able to be recalled, to try and never forget. It's never really questioned, only accepted that everypony, even the deities of Equestria, forget. But buried away, sometimes, the question still persists: why? Why do we forget?

Twilight stumbles upon the answer one day. Nothing prepared her for the answer to talk back.

A first foray into horror/suspense writing. Written in the spirit of the upcoming Halloween holiday. Proofread by NotaPonyPerson, Speculore, and SweetBanana.

This story is a sequel to Life is Magic

In what feels like an instant, we lost everything.

We were happy, unsuspecting, peace-loving creatures caught up in something beyond our control or understanding. There was no way we could've prepared ourselves for what was to come, let alone do anything to stop it. What was supposed to be the celebration of the Sun we all love and revere, became a horrific whirlwind of violence and fear and insanity. And that was when our world changed—when we changed.

In the aftermath of the Collapse, nothing remains but monsters, madness, and the scattered remains of a peaceful age now lost to us—or so we thought. But in reality, there is still hope for something better. In the all-consuming darkness of this new era, the embers of Harmony still exist. The light is small, but it burns with a resilience that will not allow it to be snuffed out so easily.

All that's needed is a spark—something to stoke the embers into a roaring flame that will bring us out of the darkness and back into the light of Harmony once again. In the aftermath of the Collapse we are lost, we are suffering, we are cursed but not all of us are without hope.

During a breakfast conversation about the responsibility she will soon bear, Spike asks a simple question: "Do you really want to be a princess, Twilight?"

Inspired by Parting Words, by RHJunior

Princess Celestia is the paragon of Harmony. She is kind to her subjects and generous to those in need. She is loyal to her ideals and never compromised. She has a good, if mostly unknown, sense of humor. Above all else, she is always honest. Right?

Twilight Sparkle trusts Princess Celestia implicitly and in all things. The Princess has never steered her wrong, not once. When Twilight thought that her concerns for Nightmare Moon were being ignored, Celestia had her back, even if she was withholding information.

Wait a minute.

Shortly before Celestia leaves for Canterlot with the redeemed Luna, Twilight has a conversation with her mentor that will change her perspective on the Princess forever. She will receive something new, beautiful, and damning all the same.

Cynicism.
