Sunset drags you through the portal for another weekend escapade, but once you're through you realize this isn't the usual trip. Twilight has a new spell to try and you get to see just how much ponies enjoy pets.

It's been years since Sunset has had a good Hearth's Warming. After the events of last year, she almost wants to skip the holiday entirely, but her friends think they can do something that might change her mind.

Pipp requires assistance with preening before tonight's show, and mom insists that her sister helps. Unfortunately for Zipp, her sister's wings are usually highly sensitive.

Everyone needs time to breathe now and again, and the princesses are no different. Cadence was happy to use a request to speak at the School of Friendship as an excuse to get in a relaxing mini-vacation in Ponyville.

The issue with that plan was using "relaxing" and "Ponyville" in the same sentence.

Set in Season 8, just before "On the Road to Friendship." Rated Teen for references to alcohol, violence, and certain biological functions.

As it turns out, our planet is the afterlife of a tiny horse world, and my house is super haunted. At least the ghosts are kinda cute, if not a teensy bit annoying.

Starlight and Trixie don't get to talk a lot; Trixie's always traveling, and Starlight's always busy with her mentor, Twilight. And for the most part that's okay, because Trixie can catch up with Starlight whenever she comes back into town. Maybe it's a while between her stops in Ponyville, but that's okay, she doesn't really like the town all that much anyways. And the last time she tried to bring Starlight with her on a tour, there were a lot of problems.

But it's okay. Because Trixie has been thinking. She's had a lot of time to think, because there's not much else to do out on the road. Mostly about how to solve those problems.

Twilight is showing Celestia her new invention – an advanced lie detector. Without her knowledge, Luna and James asked her friends to join the presentation. But that shouldn't be a problem. After all, the mane six has nothing to hide! … right?
